  1. Not Endwalker. You're capped at lvl 60. here are the other restrictions for a free account.
  2. Depends on what you plan to do, and your interest in MMO's. FF is more about story than every other MMO that I've played, but if you're going to play it maybe once a week then it's probably not worth signing up for it. There is tons of stuff to do even for a casual player though.
  3. Nah, mine isn't on Steam....but you don't have to be on the same platform. For example, you can play with people on PS5 when you're on PC. You just have to be on the same World in order to form a guild and be in a guild. You can play with each other cross world, but you just can't be in the same Guild (Free Company).
  4. I swear I'm like the only on who ever posts about it, so I'm not sure if anyone else plays it. And I'm on NA. If we wanted to ever do something, if there was enough interest, I'd level a character on EU just to play but I don't know that we have enough people for anything.
  5. It's not really that black and white at all. If that were the case then 9/10's of any sporting league wouldn't exist.
  6. That is definitely rough. I have been a fan of UFC since the original start in the 90's but the fight between him and Griffin is when I really started to get into it even more to the point where I didn't really miss an event. I feel the same as Cymbols in that I feel like the sport owes him more than he ever got from it. I love Forrest but I feel like he got way more credit for that fight than Bonnar did but both of them went to war.
  7. I was looking through an article on those that The Mets added to their roster this off-season in order to compete and saw the name Jose Quintana. Isn't he like 107? I feel like I've been seeing his name forever. Edit: He's younger than I am
  8. So maybe I'm a bit stupid but, why would you sign a guy who is already having issues passing the physical? I'm sure there's something I'm missing but that sounds like something I wouldn't want to do.
  9. I don't believe in Karma....but if I did....
  10. I don't know shit about the sport, and you'd probably never see me watch a full game but I just watched the last 20 minutes of this one and damn, that was pretty exciting.
  11. WCW/nWo Revenge was such a banger of a game. It was one of the first wrestling games I actually played and I enjoyed it even more than No Mercy to be honest.
  12. We actually do this. Rogers Cable here in Canada actually has a fireplace channel during the holiday seasons so we put that on when we open presents.
  13. I'm on the fifth episode so far and I've loved the hell out of it. I've seen some of the criticisms of it and I feel like it's a lot of people looking for something to criticize because I don't see any of the same issues.
  14. Pretty much the only movies that I tend to watch with regularity now at Christmas time is Die Hard and Home Alone. I used to watch National Lampoon's Christmas but honestly I've gotten tired of that movie. It just doesn't live up to the same enjoyment I shared with it when I was younger.
  15. The sport in a nutshell. Pretty sure Meac once told me it's the only place where you can miss 70% of your opportunities and still be considered good.
  16. UFC have always been a bit weird, but honestly he probably won't be there much longer. The Middleweight Division is kind of in turmoil. I feel like Middleweight and up has kind of become stagnant with a few coming here and there that are exciting. The lower weight classes seem to be much more competitive in keeping your spot. Hell I'd forgotten who the Heavyweight Champion was when I watched Pavolovich dismantle Tuivasa.

    OOTP XX

The game itself is easy to get into but if you're anything like me, you're going to get dragged into trying to understand the different stats and such. I actually leaned on Meac a lot when I started playing it. I think it's pretty easy to do okay but if you really want to put together a really good team then you'll end up looking up different things. It's very very detailed when it comes to contracts and stats and such. Also it's very easy to get lost in it. So many times I turned it on with the intention to just play an hour or so and suddenly 4 hours have passed.
  18. DRAGONS! WE can be dragons now! Edit: Damn, I really need to change my colors if I'm going to wear that tabard
  19. You say "fed to" but I actually see Poirier winning that fight. I feel like it would be Dariush getting fed to Poirier in that one. Also on a sad note, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson passed away recently due to Cancer.
  20. Last night's card has to be considered one of the best of the year. Some really great fights from the Early Prelims right to the main event. Sad to see Frankie go out the way that he did but I strongly believe he shouldn't have even been in that fight so I really hope this is finally it for him. Porier/Chandler was absolute fire. I have never figured out how Esparza keeps winning like she does, because I've never seen her as being a great fighter, and Zhang basically showed why I've thought that for a bit. Absolutely steamrolled her. The main event was a surprise even with the hype about Pereira holding a Kickboxing win over Izzy. I absolutely did not give him a chance in hell of pulling out the win and yet...
  21. I chose him before the race started but I very much didn't want him to win. I was, of course, cheering for Chase and I was okay with anyone but Logano until Chastain wrecked Chase. Then I was anyone but Chastain.
  22. I finally finished Uncharted 4 this week. That's now all four of them down and I will play the spin-off at some point but I really need to beat the God Of War since the second one is now coming out and I've not played more than 10 minutes of the first. I enjoyed Uncharted 4 but I did with it what I do with a lot of games where I play it for awhile and then abandon it for even longer which has me forgetting exactly what happened when I came back, where I'm supposed to go and more important, usually the controls to do it. I need to focus more on not letting myself go months at a time between playing a game. I at least remember the important plot points enough to know that it was a decent game. The game play is basically what you'd expect from an Uncharted game as I don't feel they ever really reinvented the wheel or anything. Story was touching and I enjoyed the ending.
  23. I know Meac and I were basically the only one who watched this and he's not been here for awhile but I'd be remissed if I didn't mention that Joe Gibbs last living son Coy Gibbs passed away in his sleep the morning after his son Ty won the Xfinity Championship race, and the day of the Cup Championship which happened this evening. It has got to be heartbreaking for them
  24. If you ever need a reason to play FFXIV Let me introduce you to Livingway. I want to hug them and squeeze them and call them George.
  25. I bought my wife the set for Christmas a couple of years back and I think she read one of them. They're not really my kind of books but I'll watch the hell out of the shows.
