After scouring town, I found Disgaea 2nd hand. This makes me happy. I come home, gleefully pop it into my PS2 only to find it doesnt want to play the certain blue coloured disc. This makes me sad. Someone hold me.

But its hard to get hold of now. Damn me for dismissing it when I first glanced at it. Damn me to hell .

Aha, yeah, I knew I forgot something. I have a PC, PS2 and Gamecube. And I have both of them . Can anyone inform me as to whether God of War would be worth a shot? Or Disgaea?

I got payed a rather huge sum of money today, and since the summer is all but upon us, I'm wanting some gaming to keep me company. I'm looking for a few games, one from each genre. These are the genres Im looking to fill: A massively online FPS An RPG, old or new, rare or common, obviously one that I haven't got (I wont list what I have, because I have quite a few) An RTS (Real time Strategy), again, old or new. And as throw in a wildcard for a game that you have found, or think I will find, exceedingly entertaining to waste away these lovely summer days. I thank you for your time.

I had this game so long ago, its fucking great, also quite bloody hard as well. Some of the combo moves are class.

Citizen Erased, Dark Shines, Dead Star, Microcuts, Bliss, New Born, Spiral Static, Eternally Missed (Hysteria B Side), Falling Down. To name a few of my favorites. Yeah, Im a huge Muse mark.

Bah, I have a soft spot for them because I saw them live and they tore the fucking house down. You sorta can't help but love most of thier stuff after that.

Dark Tranquillity (From the Swedish Metal scene, slightly similar ilk to In Flames, but with a much rawer sound to them, double thumbs up from me.) Sentenced (Modern Hard Rock band, pretty unique sound they got here, mix of very heavy and very mellow.) Evergrey (Similarish to sentenced, more instrumental based and slightly heavier, which I consider better, but yeah.) Dimmu Borgir (Death Metal with Melodic roots, some absolutely class songs they have (Kings of the Carnival Creation, Burn in Hell)) Dissection (Rawer sounding than Dimmu Borgir, and have a slight bit more melody to them, great sound, great vocalist, great stuff) Meshuggah (Very fast paced Death Metal, with melodic roots again. If you want to let loose and headbang, go for these. Awesome timings too if you understand that sort of thing.) Testament (Think of Metallica mixed with Pantera, very good old heavy metal band, horribly overlooked in the past though, also bear a large range of styles within Heavy metal too, from near-death metal songs such as Dog Faced Gods, to melodic peices like Return to Serenity) Mastodon (Pretty fast paced band, slightly crummy production on thier older stuff, but still great music. Think of a much heavier version of Metallica. The drumming is fairly insane in every song.) Opeth (A band with long instrumental sections in a lot of thier songs, little vocals, lots of death metal melody. Class) Shadows Fall (Melodic metal of a differant kind, Im sure you've heard of these though. It can sometimes near Emo style music, but still has a very rockin' sound.) The Haunted (A heavier version of In Flames, great to rock the hell out to. Mixes Melodies and raw energy pretty expertly) At The Gates (Similar to The Haunted, but have a much rawer sound, and longer instrumental parts, good shite) Angra (Progressive Metal, not all about Dragons and medieval battles though, has some good gutar parts in, and has a very unique sound about them) Satyricon (As you can guess from the death like name, they're pretty heavy, similar to Dissection.) Hope that helps in some way, if you dont like every song by every one of these bands, then you are beyond all help my friend.

For some Metal: Children of Bodom, Dark Tranquillity, the old In Flames, The Haunted, Testament, At the Gates all play in drop D.

Star Ocean has pretty great gameplay for through a lot of the game, and the storyline kicks back into gear during the second half. There are also a bunch of mini things to do. Don't get me wrong its by no means an insta-classic, but its a pretty immersive game for what it is.

Homeworld 2: 8.5/10 - Fucking Innovative. Fucking hard.

Mario 64. If you dont own that game, I shall consume your soul.

The game is either buggered or too complex for me. This makes me sad.

Blur > Oasis. Hell, Supergrass > Oasis. Dont get me wrong, I think Oasis are (or at least were) good. But thier last album was....crap. So, Im not holding my breath for this one.

Ill probably get all three eventually, the 1st one I pick up rests on the first batch of games released with it.

I have but one single thing to say about that whole show. "lol".

I remember trading in Secret of Mana about 7 years ago, (when I was 12) and 2 years later I started to really want to play it again. The place I traded it into had obviously sold it, so I had to track down a copy (I didnt have the internet 5 years ago) in a huge games store and had to buy it for like 10x what I sold it off for. I was pissed, but I had my baby back.

Yeah its an assold list, but its probably (Replace sonic with Super Metroid), one of the most accurate lists Ive seen. Chrono Trigger being 11 makes me a fucking happy man, even though it should be in the top three, the mere fact it is soaring above all of the other Square RPGs makes me happy. What does baffle me though is the lack of placement for Suikoden and FF7. And FF4 above FF6? Fuck off... Oh, Secret of Mana made a damn top 100 list. I grew up on that game.
