The Edited Best Video Games of 2012 Thread! yaaay! Ah, EWB, my old friend. The year has come and gone, so let us all unite in disagreement about the best of vidja games in 2012. But first of all. Nomination time! From what I've gleaned about you folk and your gaming habits, some of you play a lot of games and some of you don't. With that in mind, don't feel you need to fill the list, just put as many (up to 10) as you wish to. Scoring will be fairly standard: 1st place will get 30 points, 2nd = 20, 3rd = 10, 4th = 7, 5th = 6, 6th = 5, 7th = 4, 8th = 3, 9th = 2, 10th = 1. I'll close nominations sometime in January (whenever this thread dies basically). As a side note, you are all the most disappointing game of 2012. (Except you GoGo. Admittedly it was mainly from the Indie Bundle. But I've also bought Tropico 4, Sim City 4 Deluxe, KOTOR 1+2, FM 2013, Galactic Civs 1+2, Half Life 2 (w/ episode 1 + 2), Dragon Age Origins, Penny Arcade Episode 1 + 2. I don't imagine I'll play the majority of the games I've bought either.

And now I'm at 151. Help me.

The Persona series (specifically 3 + 4) are great games, though they are PS2 games. If you have a Wii check out Xenoblade Chronicles, also a rather grand game. Also Tales of Vesperia for the XBOX (and maybe PS3).

Really enjoyed the few hours I played last night, me and the Type 25 are becoming fast friends. That being said, the Black ops 1 problem of the same maps cycling over and over seems to rear it's head again; I played Raid about half of the matches I had. 'Tis a great online setup though, the select 10 for classes I think is a fantastic addition. I can see myself getting as sucked in as I did for MW2 with this. Still to try the Campaign and Zombies as well, the former I've heard is actually really good.

Same, I thought this might finally be the year I skipped a CoD. Ugh.

The next Kingdom Hearts game is going to be excellent. EDIT - Eh, it was mentioned earlier in the thread. IT STILL APPLIES.

Usually they get mid 70s, which is a perfectly good score to have (except if your a publisher). This one is hitting mid 80s and seems to have more of a "y'know, this one is actually really good" feel in a lot of reviews.
