I play music for whatever game I play. It's usually just random artists I feel like listening to at the moment - currently it's Akercocke. Since I'm usually playing CM 2007, it doesn't affect my performance much.

Metal. Death metal to be exact, although there are even more branches of death metal (br00tal, melodic, technical, prog). I listen to all three sorts.

I like most of Yngwie Malmsteen's solos. Pretentious fuck he might be, but he's talented. I'd say he can be a prick whenever he wants, if anyone can play as well as him they have the right to be a prick. I rarely rate songs based on solos, but Dismember do really good ones. And those solos on Death's Sound Of Perseverance are also great. These are my current favourites, of course. Ah, I also like Through The Fire And Flames (all three solos). Technical, fast, melodic, it's all three, and great.

I simply sort out my songs by their respective bands if I have at least one album by them and a few more songs maybe. Otherwise they go into their respective genre folder, consisting of Death Metal, Metal, Melodic Metal and...Long Songs. Yes I like all my long songs together.
