  1. I voted Toy Story (Haven't seen a couple of these though). Most of them are at least solid films though. Except Cars. I refuse to ever watch that.
  2. I voted TNG, but I actually would have Voyageur at my #2 spot. I just loved that show. Never got into DS9 too much though.
  3. Leinart should probably start, but he might be better off as a quality back-up for one of the better teams. QB depth isn't what it used to be so Leinart can be a pretty good commodity. I'd have kept him though. EDIT: As a comparison, here are the two men's pre-season numbers (Not exactly a great measure, but best I could do) DA: 58.5%, 287 Yards, 2 TD 2 INT, 5.4 Per Attempt Leinart: 82.6%, 161 Yards, 1 TD, 7.0 Per Attempt Even if you double Leinart's numbers (And thus lower his completion percentage) he still seems to be more solid (And more importantly, safer) than DA. Lest we forget that Anderson completed less than half his passes and threw 10 INT's last year. Even on Cleveland, that's awful.
  4. I thought Ninja's were supposed to wear masks and shit. Seriously though, that was pretty impressive. As was said before, his attitude about it made it even more badass.

  6. damshow nailed it. Millen built the ENTIRE team, from picks to FA. He's put together the worst team over an 8 year period ever, regardless of whoever he took in round 1. It just looks even worse when most of those 1st round picks are gone/busts but it was his overall failure that is why he doesn't get any respect... which he doesn't really deserve. It's the NFL, rebuilding is not impossible and repeatedly finishing low (Which Detroit did) should result in some players that aren't shit.
  7. I think NFL 2K5 was the best ever. ...
  8. Err, so should I get 2 or 98/99 to give a whirl?
  9. So I started a game as FC Bunyodkor of the Uzbekistan league and it's actually kind of fun. Really easy in league so far, but I am eager to see if my quality translates to the Champions League. FC Bunyodkor also have a VERY high transfer budget for an Asian team (Like 8 million USD) and you get to start with Rivaldo. Losing some players now, but I've still yet to taste defeat as skipper. I'd post a line-up, but I doubt people would recognize most of the names
  10. I find that the better my team is (IE: Top Premier League teams) I will play a more flashy attacking style. The lower I am (IE: Bath City) I will try a grinding, defensive counter approach. I never seem to end up with a really balanced style though. It's odd. As for players & staff, I tend to overhaul a lot. I'm almost never satisfied with the team and when I have tons of money I feel like adding some sort of gimmick to the squad. Not the best way to manage, but still
  11. Also as I read from Hamster (I think) saying the league would become top heavy... so what? Pretty much every football league on the planet only has 3 or 4 teams that win it's title. Especially in places like Europe. Still a salary cap is a good idea and the more the MLS teams have to use national talent, the better the US (And hopefully Canada) teams should get. But yes, most leagues are top heavy.
  12. I don't think chemistry is a problem for a Bosh/LeBron/Wade trio. They worked together just fine on Team USA and Mimai will have no problem finding talented guys willing to take pay cuts to sign with a team that has 3 of the best players in the league. Also I don't really see how you can call LeBron a loser. He couldn't win a title by himself like any other player in the history of the NBA. He just didn't have another star player with him at any point, and with two I am pretty confident that team would beat anyone in a 7 game series. Not that LA aren't good, but that threesome is just too much for any group to handle. That said I don't see all three together. I'm thinking LeBron will stay in Cleveland and Bosh might go to Miami. The three together just doesn't seem that plausible.
  13. Can anyone tell me which file to delete so Japan can have real players and other such stuff?
  14. Arg. Apparently Scotland doesn't count either. What other countries have lenient to non-existent foreign player policies similar to Scotland/England?
  15. Does anyone know a European country that can easily transfer in Asian players? I wanted to do a Middle Eat All-Star style team but the work permits are cock blocking me right now.
  16. Agreed. It seems they will be bringing back normal fatalities too. Create-A-Fatality was pretty shit. I get why it was done (Not wanting to program 120+ fatalities into a game) but it still ruined the game for me. Seems that Kung Lao has replaced Lui Kang as the golden boy as well.
  17. Oh I'm not saying Mortal Kombat's concept would make a good movie. It doesn't really. Which makes me wonder why they would do this now. Remaking it Twisted metal Black style for the games is fine. I liked TMB and if the MK games go a similar route I am sure it could be very interesting too. I don't know, it just seems kind of pointless to me to use the MK names when the movie could get along fine without them. It's not like having blades for arms or whatever is trademarked.
  18. This looks like an interesting movie. Too bad it is even further away from the actual Mortal Kombat than the first two movies. If they wanted to make a gore fest killing tournament they didn't need to drag the MK name into it. As Sousa said, this is a pretty thinly veiled connection to the original and I really don't feel this gives a MK vibe at all. I suppose if the new game tie's in more it might work, but with the original games? Not in the slightest.
  19. So in my Tottenham game Camaroon won the World Cup which I found pretty weird. Anyone else have some unexpected countries win the cup?
  20. Bath City got promoted to the Conference National. Next stop? PREMIERSHIP!
  21. Ugh. Just fucking kill me. Cleveland is fucking cursed.
  22. He's fat. Seriously though, this is long overdue. As terrible as Oakland's offense has been the last few years (And it has been) it doesn't help when you make terrible throws/poor decisions that'll kill whatever momentum you have. Bruce Gradkowski might not be an amazing QB but he's better than Russell because he has something between his ears that Russell just seems to be lacking. Being a back-up behind someone like Carson Palmer while on a team with a fairly good offense should give us an indication of wether or not Russell was really that hampered by Oakland or if he's just as awful as I assume he is.
  23. Yeah, Winnipeg is a no brainer. The only reason they really left last time was lack of an Arena (Which they now have) and the fanbase will be there pretty much infinitely like almost any Canadian team (Except Ottawa ). KC probably deserve a team too, but not before Winnipeg.
