  1. I'm pretty sure it was either Pitfall or a Sesame Street style game for the Ataris. That was back in 1990 or so? We didn't have a lot of money so the Ataris was already pretty old even by that point.
  2. Bath City will hopefully be joining you next year. Than we can be Conference buddies!
  3. So he'll probably lose in like a minute, but is anyone else curious to see if Mariusz Pudzianowski can actually hang with Tim Sylvia?
  4. Was that USApe amongst the old Chikara guys? If so, this is a must buy.
  5. Toronto lit up the Golf Course.
  6. I'll be getting this on PS3. So you guys can all get an easy when by kicking the shit out of me.
  7. I think cutting someone who didn't break any rules and has the longest winning streak in your company (And is a champion) is far more dangerous. But I don't run an MMA fighting organization so what do I know?
  8. Scared of not, Silva obeyed the rules and won the fight. Why should he take a risk of getting taken down when he could (And did) win the fight by staying on his feet? If you want people to take MMA seriously as a sport, accept the fact that some people will be boring/assholes and do whatever they feel will win them a fight. What benefit other than money does Silva get for risking a submission loss?
  9. I know it was disrespectful and rude and whatever, but isn't the point above all else to win? Silva beat his opponent and it's not his fault that Maia couldn't beat him. There aren't any rules against taunting and it seems he was still striking his opponent. I don't know, obviously it hurts buy rates and stuff but if MMA wants to be considered a sport they need to realize that winning (Like in every sport) is above all else. That's what Silva did, no matter what manner he chose to do it in.
  10. Wow, bath City migh tmake the playoffs. Their last 3 games aren't that bad and they already have the last spot. Awesome.
  11. This is really not what Pittsburgh's passing game needed. At all. Sigh.
  12. Not to knock on Coach K, but he's pretty much only managed great teams for what? 30 years now? Not to say he hasn't done a great job but coaching the best College players and best players on the planet (Duke & USA) isn't going to be the same as coaching the New Jersey Nets who are pretty awful. Not to say he couldn't do it, but it's still a pretty big turnaround for a guy whose older and probably could have went to the NBA a long time ago if he really wanted to.
  13. I really hope Butler win but getting this far will do a lot for all Mid-Majors and hopefully see them get some more respect in seeding and bids themselves. I also find it funny that Murray State is still the team that came closest to beating Butler and are arguably the 'smallest' school (Other than UTEP I guess) to face them. Says a lot for how much more important saying 4 years is than being a future NBA player. Actually I might as well say that players leaving after their Freshman year and such has really helped Mid-Major teams the last few years. The experience they get by all staying together so long is definitely helping them compete with teams that frankly have better players. Just look at how many smaller programs advanced a few rounds this year. Beating Duke would just be the perfect end to a fantastic run. As was said earlier Butler was in talks of making the Final 4 before the year and they are showing why with these wins. Kudos to Michigan State & West Virginia for making it this far however. Especially State without Lucas.
  14. So I beat all three God Of War games over the week. 2nd one is definitely the best overall, but 3 had some nice graphics. I enjoyed it more as a Greek Mythology nerd than most would have.
  15. So yeah, Dan Hardy is a freak. I was sure he was going to get his arms broken or rip his shoulder muscles or something with the way GSP was just wrenching his arms. Also, lol @ Frank Mir getting destroyed again. Carwin just pummeled him.
  16. Russell was the consensus top pick at QB and was very good at LSU. Obviously it hasn't translated to the NFL but it was hardly a terrible selection at the time. McFadden was an equally fantastic runningback in college but has also been bogged down by injuries/being on an awful team. No Heyward-Bey was just stupid. I mean I won't say he;ll never be good after his rookie year, but I didn't see anyone rating him ahead of Crabtree or even Harvin/Maclin. Still at least Oakland has picked a couple good defensive players who have given the team a good D. Just my two cents, I don't remember any experts saying Russell or McFadden would be 'busts' and in McFadden's case I don't even know if you can say it now.
  17. I heard a fair few people predicting Butler in the Final 4 before the year started. West Virginia has been one of the better teams the last few years too and Michigan State is always hanging around.
  18. Vermont will clearly win. They have Syracuse's number.
  19. I don't really see any sort of potential in Quinn. Sure he was drafted high but his crappy numbers weren't just bad receivers, he also made terrible throws and bad decisions. I mean he could do good if Denver's O-Line is really that great, but no better than someone like Kyle Orton or any number of guys in the league. That's not to say I couldn't be completely wrong but I just don't see Quinn as anything more than a back-up (And right now a financial burden) barring a big turnaround. I'd rather be on the Browns end of this deal to be honest.
  20. Beat Uncharted 1. Pretty solid game I must say, even if the ending left me a bit meh.
  21. I think the Jaguars could get far more useful players (Actual players, not merchandising tools) with their 3rd and 4th round picks than Tebow. They almost made the playoffs that year so they don't really need that many more pieces to compete. I'd say to just wait until the 5th or 6th round to get Tebow. Also, his running is vastly overrated. He's not going to run over anyone in the NFL like he did in College (See: Senior Bowl) and yeah. I just don't see the point in wasting a relatively high draft pick for a guy who could easily be a bust when they could probably pick him up in the 5th round. Are the Jaguars really hurting that badly for cash?
  22. Why would Jacksonville (Other than money) pick up Tebow? No way should he start ahead of Garrard or whoever their back-up is. I don't think he'll sell tickets as the 3rd string QB either. I know the Jaguars have money issues but drafting such a low projected QB and starting him to boost some ticket sales? That's just idiotic.
  23. He left out El Dandy.

  24. I'd think one of ECW, Motor City & WCW would die between the end of 08' and 10'. Would help the surviving two build their rosters and the areas of all three are very close. As for GLAM, killing it could b interesting since you can split up the roster and move them into TWE, Stampede and if you wanted have the leftovers join the Super Indy as a woman's division. Obviously TWE would only take the McMahon 'style' girls while the rest can bounce between Canada and the Indy of Doom. Yeah, I am really behind this Super Indy As for Rocky, I think he's just way too old to go from the obscurity of a career in HCW to the main event of Starrcade in a year. He could certainly become an upper midcarder fixture at any major promotions but I think the booking teams wouldn't see much point in giving him such a big push. The only way to really have him shoot that high up would be a successful Hollywood career which the NWA could use as a great heel gimmick and explain his sudden sky rocketing name value. That way you get to book dickish hollywood Rock (And can even explain calling him The Rock) and explain why he's suddenly in the Main Event of the NWA title scene.
  25. Yeah, the Swiss have really been pushing there way into the mix with teams like Slovakia, Czech, Finland and others. If they ever got some good scorer's they could win some of these games. No shortage of goaltender talent though. Definitely a real team effort for them and I would not want to draw them in the elimination rounds.
