  1. Okay Mario Golf is cool I guess but I don't see much new from Nintendo to get hype abo- HYYYYYYYYYPED
  2. I'm going to presume he's the chief reason why S:LOW was garbage then.
  3. So during the Blizzcon stream, Metallica's live concert got dubbed over with royalty-free music to avoid a DMCA strike.
  4. Gonna do a King of Trios style tournament this Sunday and Monday, because why not. My teams are... 1. Team Crawling Chaos: William King, Kathy Queen, and Spider Jack- King and Queen are a couple who are prominent parts of my main in-universe promotion, PGCW, where Queen is currently Openweight Champ. Spider Jack is normally partners with Murder Dragon but felt like a good fit with them. King is also the only two-time Openweight Champ and Spider Jack the first triple crown winner. 2. CHICKEN CLUB: Alex Kelley, Jim Rival, and Doyle Copeland- Members of PGCW's premier stable. "Mister Photogenic" Alex Kelley is a super junior with a karate background, Jim Rival is a stoic elbow boy, and Doyle Copeland is a charismatic rookie who is the kayfabe son of Popeye's founder Al Copeland 3. Alliance Of Violence: Robert Garavito, Mongo, and Murder Dragon- Garavito and Mongo are the current PGCW Tag Team champions, Garavito has a bit of a serial killer gimmick and Mongo is PGCW's resident killer hoss. Murder Dragon rounds the three out. 4. Team Capcom: Scott Saphyre, Ken Archer, and GAMEOVER PGCW's ace and his informal allies, who normally tag as Down Right Fierce. Saphyre is a Mega Man superfan, Ken Archer gets his ring name from Ken, and GAMEOVER's gear resembles M Bison. 5. Team Flanigan's: Ryan 0, Matthew Turtle, and The Beer Guy Named after a South Florida surf and turf chain. Ryan 0 and Matthew Turtle are Team Rib Rolls and former two-time tag champs. The Beer Guy is an undercard rookie. 6. The Submissionaries: Terra, Andi Harms, Marie St. Dumas Terra is also part of CHICKEN CLUB but is repping her Amazon-1 stable here. Three technically-minded women with deadly submission finishers. 7. Blair's Army: Bonnie Blair, Rebecca Requiem, and Lumpy Martinez Amazon-1's heel stable. Lumpy is the current Grand Champion, Rebecca her childhood friend. Bonnie Blair has a 'wealthy heiress' gimmick with her father recently becoming a billionaire. 8. Team Amazon-1: Annie Bell-Lee, TEK*GIRL Saiba, and Kelly Condor All-Star team for Amazon-1. Annie Bell-Lee is the first Grand Champ and has an Undertaker-style gimmick, TEK*GIRL is a futuristic idol. Kelly Condor is a resilient underdog and one-half of A-1's tag champs 9. Team MCW: Freddy Newman, Michael Ferrum, and Florida Man All-Star team for Magic City Wrestling, a Miami-based promotion with close ties to Ft Lauderdale-based PGCW. "Psycho Furry" Freddy Newman is the current MCW champ, "Doctor Claw" Michael Ferrum is the company's longest-reigning champ and master of THE CLAW, and Florida Man is, well, a wrestling Florida Man. 10. Raiders of the Wasteland: Ripper Reno, Smiley, and Flesh MCW-based stable with a post-apocalyptic raider gimmick. Reno is the leader, Smiley her bodyguard, and Flesh is her "pet". 11. Working Stiffs: Super Visor Black, Working Class Hero, and IT Lightning Another MCW-based group, based on my time as a call center stiff 12. Team DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Men's: David Atwood, Richard Lyon, and Bryan Storm Team of wrestlers trained by the in-universe GOAT. 13. Team DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Women's: Alexandra Stava, Gal Friday, and Kellie Shark See above 14. Bacon Pizza With Metal Cat: October Raven, Pizza Mask III, and Burrito The Cat Self-insert metalhead gimmick, a wrestling pizza delivery man with a pepperoni pizza patterned mask (also, there was never a PM1 or 2). Burrito The Cat is the mascot of Baton Rouge-based Bon Temps Pro Wrestling, a cartoonish gimmicky promotion. 15. Doctor Lobster's Evil Twin Army: Slamasaurus Rex, The Walking Fred, and ??? A BTPW-based stable, managed by an evil twin of a mad scientist lobster. You can tell he's the evil one because he has a goatee. Slamasaurus Rex is half-man, half (pygmy) T-Rex, and Walking Fred a zombie. The mystery entrant is going to be Black Cyborg, Alex Kelley's real-life (and in-storyline acknowledged) brother Eric who was last seen kidnapped at a PGCW show. Only it's not *really* Black Cyborg... part of a storyline where Eric Kelley abandons the gimmick while it gets passed on to a BTPW rookie 16. Team LPW: Billy Fontaine, Dan Huber, and Johnny Jones All-star team from New Orleans. Billy Fontaine is a Louisiana legend, Dan Huber is "The Sixty Minute Man" who can have long matches, and Johnny Jones is a former PGCW member with a bit of a good ol' boy gimmick
  5. or if you link your YouTube account you can upload vids to YouTube
  6. Could be written off as a particularly thick ID? They retain their INT and WIS scores, so just because they have information of their host "This door has arcane lock that the host cast" doesn't mean they know how to parse that correctly "This means I can open it". They have 12 and 14 in those, which is above average, but maybe this one had like 6 WIS?
  7. Star Wars Game 😮 Third person shooter 🙂 ...Competitive 🙁 Zynga
  8. It's the divine casting still being available that really sways it IMO. A Devourer can fool humans (as, by RAW, things like Detect Evil don't work). I find it very unlikely that a Paladin for example's powers would work if the host's soul wasn't still there.
  9. Well, here's the problem... the very last sentence of Body Snatcher. Meaning the host is very much still alive, and the ID has the ability to use their magic (due to retaining spellcasting abilities; if they were just gleaning the spellcasting from their mind, this would only apply to wizards and bards. Sorcerors are born magical, and divine casters are, well, divine casters). The ID is in control, but the host still is there. So, with that in mind, it's almost like the effects of Dominate. The person being controlled opens the door. They're not in control, but they're still opening it.
  10. Also, I have a theory that the Crystal Dynamic folks secretly resent being eternally tied to Tomb Raider, and that's why Lara Croft's reboot series is basically a series of traumatic events for Lara, as well as some brutally violent ways for her to die in fail states.
  11. Still playing Tomb Raider reboot and... y'know, this isn't just Tomb Raider but a lot of other things. I like it better when the weird shit that's going on isn't supernatural. Because once it's some magic ancient curse from a civilization lost to time then a lot of the mystery's going away. And since this is the series where a T-rex just happens to be in an ancient tomb for some reason, I doubt it'll be just some guy with a really good grasp of engineering.
  12. Man I wish modding options were a thing for Phantom Doctrine. I was able to make an entire campaign crew out of American Dad characters but the chargen system is limited so I had things like Francine not in a dress etc
  13. I mean to an English-speaking North American it sounds like they're going to fight the Ninja Turtles.
  14. EDIT- Video cut off the results screen, but the finish is dubbed "The 42"
  15. Finished Outer Worlds. Planning on playing it again after new DLC comes out (or if it comes up in my backlog drawing). Next up: Tomb Raider (the first reboot game that is).
  16. Funny thing is, Pinnacle Station was the only thing that gave me a challenge in the latter half of the game. At least now we don't have that minor plot hole of Shep having an entire *vacation planet* to themselves which never gets brought up again.
  17. I should do a round robin sometime myself. I'm planning on a trios tournament down the line, so maybe after that. btw I normally Twitch stream during Raw and Smackdown, the former are usually of one of three actual promotions I'm running with occassional random stuff consisting of background promotions that exist partially to flesh out the shared universe the others exist in, where Friday nights are almost all random stuff with occasional testing of new edits to see if their moveset works the way I design it if you're curious, the ones that I actually sim for are DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo (a dojo-fed terrority run by the in-universe GOAT, Corey O'Brian, who is currently in New York as he also works in another Fire Pro simmer's promotion so for versimilitude reasons his best friend Xander Starr is currently the one running the shows with Corey being matchmaker, and there's a ranking system where the title match is given first refusal to the top contender, but whoever loses the title match has to start over from the bottom rank), Amazon-1 (which I have a diary in the Cube for as I felt that'd be the most EWB-friendly) and Proving Ground Championship Wrestling, a more traditional "super indy" which features Spider Jack (which you may remember as the guy I used for the CWC diary a while back) and has Amazon-1's ace as the current champion as well as a BULLET CLUB homage/parody called CHICKEN CLUB (originally led by Harlan Sanders IV, alleged great-grandson of the KFC founder, now a democratic group who is bankrolled by the kayfabe son of the founder of Popeye's). Some of my background promotions include Magic City Wrestling (based in Miami, PGCW's friendly rival, notable for being the home promotion of Florida Man), Bone Collection Wrestling (think ECW marketed to metalheads), Hollywood Knights (a Lucha Underground-inspired promotion, started by a wrestler who was fired from a major promotion also running out of SoCal due to his marijuana use), and Women of Mass Destruction (a women's deathmatch wrestling that's actually a spiritual successor of a prior one called Jersey All-Women's Sports).
  18. I am grey

You can see me safely but if you get anywhere near me without a protective suit you will die in two minutes

    I cannot be contained

Destroying me would come at a great cost

    What am I?

  19. Still playing The Outer Worlds and they have a quest called Makes Spacesuits, Won't Travel and wow that is a deep cut reference. No wonder I never met anyone else who read that book they all work for Obsidian! Also, just found out about this
  20. Mick's fetish confirmed as half boston crabs.
  21. Well a tentative deal was reached at the last minute it seems. Still needs to be formally approved by the players, then the owners, but expected to go through. Speaking of tentative plans, The People's Himmarshee FC is changing streaming platforms to Twitch. Which probably means no automated scoreboard like their last streaming site, but we're gonna win anyway so the only thing that matters is how much we increase our goal differential.
  22. It's pretty stable. Long as you keep backups of your saves and don't do anything that people in the Discord (especially Carlizilla) advise you not to do, you'll be fine.
  23. Essentially, MLS is looking at massive losses due to COVID and want massive cuts to the CBA to make up for it. The Player's Union have so far met them halfway but their offer and MLS' demands are pretty far apart. So not unlike similar disputes with NHL and MLB in the past, but MLS is far less fiscally solvent than even NHL was so their demands might be necessary just to keep the lights on. Either way, I hope this will be the onus of US footy adopting a proper open pyramid but I also have doubts that would happen.
