Yeah, unfortunately Spike has more or less dropped support for the game so the workshop implementation isn't changing. It's a shame though because parts and move craft means basically infinite content. Could always make your own stuff! It's not that hard once you learn it.

I... make my own dudes. But from what I know from reputation, Senator makes good stuff, though. Lord Worm too. But yeah, you have to subscribe to everything the edits need through the workshop. For my custom dudes I made it a point to link to every move that's modded in but I don't know if everyone does that.
