  1. I remember when I was in HS, the school was taking a two week long field trip to the Bay James and I was like I am not going because really in my mind this was like getting two weeks off school vs. going away with school for two weeks, and that particular time both GTA3 and MGS2 came out and I played the shit out of those games. MGS2 was great, I don't think it holds up but I remember just loving the hell out of it particularly because I'd never had a PSX and had never played the original so I actually think I'm one of the few people that enjoyed the game. GTA3, though, blew my mind. I could do whatever I wanted, drive wherever I wanted, just do everything forever and the possibilities were endless. It's not as great as GTASA but good god those hours I spent playing that game made me a really happy fat teenager. I wish I could relive those days. I'd also kill to have never played any of the sidescroller Mario games because not knowing all the little tricks and going through them the first time would be brilliant.
  2. Harry Kane is a good man. First he destroys Chelsea and now he destroys Arsenal. I've said it before, but quickly becoming my favourite player since dearly beloved Ledley King.
  3. Daniel Opare! I was wondering what happened to him a while back. Such a beast on FM08 and FM09.
  4. I literally have no clue what David Luiz is doing in this list. First PSG actually pays a fuck ton of money to buy him, then he makes the team of the year. Am I missing something or is this just some elaborate troll?
  5. I really feel like I'm suddenly stuck of bizarro world lately where football news sites headlines all seem like some sort of kayfabed wrestling news, whether it's "Steve Bruce heel turns and supports rapist" or "Frank Lampard was Man City all along, it was the ultimate swerve!"
  6. I don't get the Valdes signing unless it's one of those let's stop other teams from signing him signings.
  7. Harry Kane has always been insanely hardworking but what I always felt lacked in his game was being clinical and today was not one of those cases. I really seriously hope that this was not a one off and that kid carries on like this because it could be that for the first time since Ledley King I have a club hero
  8. I for one had no doubts whatsoever that we'd smash Chelsea
  9. And so begins the great Southampton slide down the table and so begins my great panic at having my defense in my fantasy team as mostly Southampton players.
  10. We have the same keyboard in Canada except it is covered in a foot of snow.
  11. I found a 100$ certificate someone gave me years ago that was gonna expire in about a week so I went to the store and flipped a coin between ps4 and xbone and this one won. I am mostly playing Fifa and Sunset Overdrive so far though.
  12. Marry Me is remind me of Happy Endings (which makes sense given it's the same creator). Of course, by reminds me of Happy Endings, I mean those early Happy Endings episodes where all the characters were a bunch of unlikable, one dimensional nutjobs. I will keep watching in the hopes that much like Happy Endings, it picks up and becomes wonderful. A to Z is also kinda neat, but that's mostly based on the fact that I'm enjoying seeing Ginsberg not be Ginsberg and the mother from Mad Men being charming.
  13. This is the best news. I will now start a countdown clock!
  14. If we follow Wenger's logic then I'm assuming having Costa and Fabregas on my fantasy team is also unfair?
  15. With all this talk of Premier League experience, we should probably look at Southampton and how their non Premier League signings are doing. At this rate, Ronald Koeman will probably be managing Tottenham in a year or two
  16. I wonder how long Chadli will keep scoring. Most improved player of the season!
