  1. It is such a shame that the Hulk has become such an afterthought in this franchise. If there is any Marvel hero who deserves another solo movie it is him. Unfortunately as far as Hulk solo movies they seem to be in a similar situation as they are with Sony and Spider-Man.
  2. I agree that the casting was spot-on. Which is why it is such a shame that we don't get to spent more time with the grown up losers' club and have to sit through unnecessary flashbacks to 1989 losers' club that don't add anything to the story and just feel like a repeat of the first movie. And I don't see how Pennywise was more interesting in this. In my opinion Pennywise fell victim to the law of diminishing returns. He wasn't nowhere near as scary this time around.
  3. So I've seen It and It Chapter Two in a double feature since I didn't catch the first one in cinemas when it was originally released. Part 1 was amazing. Part 2 was very meh and waaaay too long at about 170 minutes.
  4. Fortunately nobody was seriously injured. Their upcoming show in Poland was cancelled but the US tour with HammerFall this October will go on as planned.
  5. I loved Sabaton when I discovered them about 10 years ago when they released The Art Of War. I'm kind of over them now though. Still enjoy everything up to and including Carolus Rex. But the last 3 records have all been crap.
  6. Who cares about Buddy Murphy's theme? The entire SmackDown branding is probably going to be out of date.
  7. Seems like they are combining Towers mode and Showcase mode.
  8. That DDT appearance seems to be a one-off though. I say keep him unsackable until he makes regular for another promotion again. And as Rocky pointed out, DDT aren't even in the game. And if it bothers you so much, you can simply change it for your own game.
  9. So apparently Ewen McGregor will reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a Disney+ show. That should be fun. McGregor as Obi-Wan was one of the few good things about the prequels. Source: CNBC.com
  10. Will they put this out on Blu Ray? I know that they release their more famous shows like Stranger Things on Blu Ray but I don't know what their policy is in regards to movies.
  11. Maybe I am miss-remembering things, but didn't the deal that Sony and Marvel struck include 3 solo Spidy movies? So did Sony back out of the deal prematurely?
  12. According to Deadline the initial reports that Homecoming and Far From Home director Jon Watts will be involved in the next 2 movies might be false. According to them he isn't signed on to direct the next movie and is being heavily courted by other studios.
  13. This fucking sucks. How to you even make another Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland if you can't bring up anything MCU related? Only solution I see is yet another reboot. But hey, we have that Venom crossover to look forward to
  14. I don't know what kind of deal Marvel made with Sony back in the day. But in the case of Constantin Film and later 20th Century Fox the deal was that the property remained with them as long as they keep producing movies. If they didn't do anything with the property in x amount of years the movie rights would revert back to Marvel. Which is what we got that unreleased Roger Corman Fantastic Four movie in the early 90s as well as Fant4stic in 2015. Spider Man is the biggest and most successful franchise Sony have right now (othere than maybe Jumanji depending on how well the next movie does), so they won't give that up. And if they keep producing movies I don't think there is anything Marvel can do other than hope that these movies bomb so that Sony might come back to the negotiating table.
  15. According to the article Tom Holland as well as FFH director Jon Watts will both be part of the two Spider-Man movies hat are in the works. So they might be good.
  16. But there is still 1 more movie left on the original deal, right? Edit: I should really read the entire story first before posting. This sucks.
  17. So seems like King Diamond did finish that new solo album before starting to work on new Mercyful Fate material. The new album is named "The Institute" and will be out next year. The first single from the album will come out this fall. They are also going on tour in the US in November/December. Support are Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats (some retro-60s-psychadelic-rock band from Cambridge) and Idle Hands (an American Gothic Metal band). Dates: Nov. 02 - Dallas, TX @ Bomb Factory Nov. 04 - Atlanta, GA @ Tabernacle Nov. 05 - Orlando, FL @ Dr. Philips Center Nov. 07 - Brooklyn, NY @ Kings Theatre Nov. 08 - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium Nov. 10 - Philadelphia, PA @ The Tower Theater Nov. 11 - Baltimore, MD @ The Lyric Nov. 12 - Montreal, QC @ M-Telus Nov. 14 - Detroit, MI @ The Fillmore Nov. 15 - Cleveland, OH @ The Agora Theatre Nov. 16 - Louisville, KY @ The Palace Theatre Nov. 18 - Chicago, IL @ The Riviera Nov. 19 - Minneapolis, MN @ Palace Theater Nov. 22 - Denver, CO @ The Fillmore Nov. 23 - Salt Lake City, UT @ The Complex Nov. 25 - Seattle, WA @ The Paramount Nov. 26 - Portland, OR @ The Schnitzer Nov. 27 - Vancouver, BC @ The Queen Elizabeth Nov. 29 - San Francisco, CA @ The Warfield Dec. 01 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Wiltern Dec. 02 - San Diego, CA @ Magnolia Dec. 03 - Anaheim, CA @ The Grove of Anaheim Dec. 04 - Phoenix, AZ @ Comerica Source: Blabbermouth.net
  18. So there are actual wrestlers tied to these 2K20 Originals? Not just themed version of wrestlers and themed arenas? Does that mean if I don't pre-order I won't get to play as "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt?
  19. Bassist Frédéric Leclercq has left DragonForce. He joined the band in 2006 replacing Adrian Lambert. He says that there is no bad blood between him and his former bandmates and that he wishes them the best. His temporary replacement for the band's ongoing tour will be no other than Youtube personality Steve Terreberry aka Stevie T. Earlier this year DragonForce guitarist Herman Li jokingly asked Stevie to join the band as a triangle player. Terreberry made a response video in which he accepted the offer provided he gets to play a 5 minute triangle solo in ever song. And now he is in the band for real. At least temporarily. 20. I really want to replay these with all the DLC. But the only two options I have is either getting the DLC on Microsoft Live where I'd have to pay over 70 bucks for the story DLC it or getting Origins (which I don't want) and shell out 95 bucks for the trilogy + the 2 DLC bundles which include a lot of stuff I don't even want. Why are EA so shitty when it comes to Mass Effect DLC? Why did they never release a Goty Edition for 2 and 3 like they did for the Dragon Age trilogy?
  21. They have also announced details about the collector's and deluxe edition. If you buy either of those you'll get the accelerator, MyCareer kickstart, every WWE 2K20 Originals content package as well as Chyna, Hulk Hogan, "500$ Shirt" The Rock and Rock'n'Sock Connection Mankind. If you buy the Collector's Edition (which is SmackDown themed this year), you'll get a piece of a WWE SmackDown! ring skirt used between 2002 and 2008 as well as a WWE SmackDown! legend plaque autographed by either Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio or Edge. 22. Cover reveal trailer in HD: Xavier Woods reveals first WWE 2K20 details:
  23. Did anyone actually believe that there would be big changes this year? This is probably the last WWE game developed exclusively for this console generation. They were never going to pull out all the stops for this one. If there is any hope for change then it is going to be the jump to the next console generation. Although I hope 2K21 doesn't end up like 2K15 which barely had any features because they had to rebuild the game from scratch. At least I think that was the explanation they gave.
  24. Was Larry Zbyszko still in last year? I never understood why they took out Arn but Left Larry in. Who wants to play as Larry Zbyszk?
