  1. Maybe edit the thread title to reflect that?
  2. I don't think I revealed anything of importance but since you asked I edited my post. I deleted the section that might consitute a spoiler since spoilers still don't work.
  3. So I've been playing this for about an hour and I'm already stuck.
  4. So I just watched the new bond and I have to say I'm very disappointed.
  5. Of course I'm not being serious. I'm happy that there are now two parties working on a small, usable update that people can use instead of that bloated monstrosity from Bill. Don't get me wrong, I was thankful for Bill making his updates as well since he seems to be the only one who is still making current-day updates but for the reasons you mentioned in several threads they were not fun to play anymore.
  6. So does Bill's absence and your thread being pinned mean you have dethroned Bill as EWB's undisputed EWR stat provider? By shamelessly stealing poor Bill's work? After all the effort he put into it? You might not be a donator but I'm sure they put you up to it! I smell a conspiracy!
  7. Spoiler tags don't work for me for some reason.
  8. If these teasers didn't make sense to you and you're also not familiar with the book the movie is based on: It is a fish-out-of-water story. Adolf Hitler wakes up un modern Berlin. It is never explained how he got there. As he is trying to make sense his situation people mistake him for some kind of comedic method actor doing satire.
  9. Looking back the only time Catwomen and Bruce have ever been genuinely good was during the couple of episodes when Catwomen stayed at Wayne Manor and they were allowed to act like kids. Everytime they have to do dramatic dialogue it just comes off forced and unnatural. Actually that's true for all of the child actors on the show.
  10. I never cared much for the EU outside of maybe the TV shows and some video games so I'm quite happy that I don't have any catching up to do before the movie.
  11. It's a mixed bag for me. There is a lot of stuff I like about it. It's great to see that Gordon has finally managed to ease up and roll with the punches instead of still being a goody-two-shoes boyscout. Thankfully the writers also had him dump Barbara so no more painful to watch romance scenes between them. Donal Logue as detective Bullock is still a joy to watch although unfortunately his character seems to take a back seat this season. Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin is probably the best non-comic incarnation of the character that ever was and they even managed to turn Edward Nygma into a credible creep. And last but not least I love no-nonsense Butler Alfred who is at times overwhelmed with the task of taking care of young master Bruce. It is a nice contrast to the wise old sage Alfred of the Nolan movies who always knew the right story for every situation. The cramming in young batman villains can be a good and bad thing. As mentioned above they did a great job with their portrayal of the Penguin and the Riddler. On the other hand we had young Poison Ivy who was completely pointless in the first season as was Harvey Dent. They have introduced some new once including a fairly well-known one this episode and another fairly big once that is supposed to debut over the next few episodes but I'll hold my judgment about them back until I can see where they're going with them story-wise. On the other hand Barbara is still part of the show, as a side-kick to the villain this time, and the actress that plays her is still terrible. As are the actors that play Catwoman and Bruce Wayne for the majority of their scenes. It's painful to watch sometimes. They still haven't figured out whether they want it to be a gritty cop-show are a goofy comic book adaptation although I think the balance of these two styles has gotten better in between seasons. There are still goofy things happening but nothing as jarring as the guy who used to tie his victims to balloons to kill them. The mob-war is over with Penguin as the quasi-godfather of Gotham. There has been no word about what Dollmaker is up to and the Wayne Enterprise conspiracy plot has taken a backseat to the new main Villain they have introduced. As stated above I can't stand the guy nor his back story and motivation.
  12. As Maxx said the force as well as Jedi and Sith were considered a myth even as the first 3 movies took place. Most Jedis were murdered by the time these movies took place. The generals of the Death Star didn't beleive in the force although they had Dark fucking Vader standing right in front of them. Maybe the Empire even tried to actively surpress any knowledge about the force. They are after all a tolitarian, facist government, right? We also never knew how exactely the Rebells communicated their victory over the empire and if they made a big deal out of the Jedi involvement.
  13. This so much. I actually teared up while watching it. Couldn't help it.
  14. I feall I really should divorce Grey's Anatomy. For quite a while now I found myself groaning at most of what is happening and most of the characters I liked have either died or become unimportant in the grand scheme of things. I don't know why I keep watching it. I do have a lot of webshows I used to watch but don't anymore. Around the time the Nostalgia Critic opened his own website I used to watch everything that got posted on there. Nowadays the only current producers whose stuff I still watch is the NC itself (they got really annoying but since returning from the break he took to make demo reel they've become a lot more enjoyable), Todd In The Shadows, Rap Critic, Mike J and the Dom. As far as former producers go I used to be really into TheSpoonyOne's reviews but I've divorced his stuff a while ago. First of all he hasn't released a review in ages. All he does these days are his vlogs about Pen and Paper RPGs, WWE or movies. And I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to listen to those. The RPG ones are okay but the movie and WWE vlogs are just up to 2 hours of him ranting and raving in the most grating and smarky way and without any structure about how bad whatever he just watched is. Especially in his wrestling vlogs it seems like he is actively looking for things to complain about. It's not even fun to watch because you know that he hates everything he talks about. So what's the point in wasting 2 hours if I already know how he's going to react? If he would structure and edit his thoughts and put them out in review form then it might be worth watching. But as it is now I have no interest in anything he does. The last one I watched was his vlog about last year's Survivor Series when Sting made his debut. And as he continued to rip into every little thing that was happening on that PPV I wanted to aks him why he keeps doing these vlogs? If the WWE product is really as terrible as he says it is without any redeeming quality and if watching it really get's him that worked up and angry why keep watching it? Why not vlog about something he enjoys for a change?
  15. Yes. The Create-A-Arena feature is a nice bonus to have but for me the longevity of these games mostly comes from the create-a-superstar mode because it gives me the opportunity to add all the wrestlers that aren't in the game and keep the roster up to date. And good face and body morphin options are key to a good CAS mode. That is why last year's CAS mode was such a joke and all the caws looked like shit even with the option to import facial textures. From the looks of it they have added a lot of hair and clothing options back in the game but the morphing appears to be the same as last year. But I suppose Maxx is right. I won't be buying it anyway so why bother?
  16. So from the looks of it they haven't changed the very limited morphing system from last year at all?
  17. I just finished binging the entire first season of Escobar. Riveting. I especially like the use of archival footage because it helped to drive home that all this hhorrid craziness really happened. The only thing I don't like is the Holbrook character. Why does this story need to be told from the perspective of an american DEA agent? Why not give the lead role to Pedro Pascal? And if it had to be a "gringo" DEA Agent couldn't they have found someone better than Holbrook? I don't buy him in the role. He looks like an SNL parodie of a 70s cop.
  18. Thanks a lot for those! They're great!
  19. Could someone please make me both a logo and a banner for EWR with the current WWE logo? I'd like the logo to be on the same background as this with the dimensions 100x100 But the only clear version of the background I can find comes in 121x105 As for the banner I don't know what the ideal specs are. The other banners I have from TheWho87's photobucket come either in 756x73 or 657x73. Thanks in advance!
