  1. They're making another Power Rangers movie? For real? Is there any demand for one? I know exploiting nostalgia is a go-to for movie studios but other than maybe Linkara who is doing his history of Power Rangers series I don't think many people are nostalgic about it. Especially given the fact that it is still on TV.
  2. Sound interesting but the "shot entirely on Iphone 5" part bothers me. Does that mean it looks like one of these terrible found footage movies where you get motion sickness because the characters filming everything apparently all suffer from ADHD and can't hold still for more than a couple of seconds?
  3. 1. The Martian 2. Mad Max: Fury Road 3. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 4. Creed 5. Ex_Machina 6. Ant-Man 7. Straight Outta Compton 8. The Hateful Eight 9. Crimson Peak 10. Steve Jobs
  4. The Candlemass EP will be released on June 3rd via Napalm Records and is titled "Death Thy Lover". Tracklist as follows: 01. Death Thy Lover 02. Sleeping Giant 03. Sinister N Sweet 04. The Goose Also Rage will release their new Album "The Devil Strikes Again" on June 10th via Nuclear Blast Records. It will be the first album to feature new members Marcos Rodriguez (from his own band Soundchaser) on guitar and Vassilios "Lucky" Maniatopoulos (singer of alternative rock band Tri-State Corner and former pupil and drum-tech of former Rage drummer Christos Efthimiadis) on drums. The album was recorded in the fall of last year in several studios including Rodriguez' own "Soundchaser Studios" in Belgium. The Production was handles by bassist/vocalist and bandleader Peter "Peavy "Wagner and Rodriguez. The mixing and mastering was done was done by Dan Swanö who has worked with bands such as Asphyx, Dissection, Hail Of Bullets, Katatonia, Marduk and Opeth in the past. The cover artwork was designed by Karim König. Tracklist: CD1 01. The Devil Strikes Again 02. My Way 03. Back On Track 04. The Final Curtain 05. War 06. Ocean Full Of Tears 07. Back In Time 05. Down 06. My Way 07. Until I Die 08. Don’t Fear The Winter 09. Higher Than The Sky The 3 bonus tracks that aren't covers are songs they wrote after they were done writing the initial 10 songs for the album. The live bonus Disc was recorded during one of the recent shows the band played as support for Helloween during their European tour. The band themselves say that this is the hardest album they've done in years. It is also supposed to be more straight-forward and raw then the last few outings with Victor Smolski. The title track and album title are a reference to the song "Sent By The Devil from the album "Black In Mind" released in 1995.
  5. CM Punks UFC debut will probably be one of the most talked about MMA events this year. Makes sense to have him in the game and capitalize on that.
  6. And DiCaprio finally gets his Oscar.
  7. So "Writting's On The Wall" just won an Oscar. What the hell?
  8. Is there a deeper meaning to the girl scout cookies joke? And if so, could someone here do me the favor of explaining it? Because I don't get it.
  9. 3 Hours of gameplay from a demo version.
  10. I have no idea how it compares to the last one.
  11. New game will come out March 15th in the states and two days later in Europe. Roster hass been announced a couple days ago. It's massive. Source: GameSpot.com
  12. So how exactely will this mod differ from other mods? Is it just going to be TNA with more starting money or will there be other changes as well? Like the proposed deal with AJ Styles and the Bullet Club that never happened. will they have gone through with it in your scenario?
  13. She does have a good voice. But the song bores me to tears.
  14. Because I didn't enjoy it. When I first watched it I made it through the first two episodes. And there was nothing in there that compelled me to continue. It didn't hook me. I meant to eventually watch the rest of it because everyone else was talking about how good it was but until the trailers for season 2 were released I couldn't be bothered. It wasn't all bad. The best thing about the season for me was Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Once they introduced him in the final scene episode 3 it became easier for me to watch because D'Onofrio was so god in this role and I wanted to see where they were going with his character If I made it to that point in my first try I probably would've continued to watch.
  15. I finally finished Season 1 and I have to say I wasn't as blown away as the rest of you. The only reason I didn't quit after a couple of episodes like I did the first time I tried to watch it is because the trailers for Season 2 look so awesome.
  16. This is the German song for Sweden. I hoped that Avantasia would be picked but unfortunately they only came third. From the 3 finalists to choose from this is definitely the worst.
  17. Now this is what I call a good episode. Where stuff actually happens and we don't just see Saul sitting in a pool contemplating about a descision he already made in the last episode of Season 1.
  18. The thing that people criticize the most seems to be John Travolta as Robert Shapiro. And while I can see why people would be annoyed by him I think the criticisms are blown way out of proportion. Yes, he is over the top with his line readings but people make it sound like he is Tommy-Wiseau-bad.
  19. Yes. Plus the stuff that hasn't been announced yet.
  20. Far Habor sounds interesting. The other two not so much.
  21. "The X Factor" by Iron Maiden. It usually gets lumped together with the terrible Vitual IX and ignored but it is a very good album if you get over the fact that Bruce Dickinson isn't singing on it. Dio's "Dream Evil". If people talk about great Dio albums they usually talk about the first three. But I think the first album with Craig Goldy deserves to be mentioned along with them. It is a very well done continuation of the more synth-heavy sound of "Sacred Heart": It also featured my favorite Dio song "All The Fools Sail Away". Another underrated Dio album is "Strange Highways". I know the band received a lot of backlash because relatively slow pace and the doom and industrial influences of the album. But the thing is that it wasn't as much a Dio album as it was a continuation of what Sabbath and Dio did on "Dehumanizer" which was released a year and a half earlier. I think if Dio never left them and they did another record it would sound something like it. And I think Dio made it work. "Angry Machines" was shit though. Helloween's "Pink Bubbles Go Ape". The general consensus amongst Helloween fans seems to be that the band stopped being good after Keeper Part II was released and didn't start being good again until Andi Deris and Uli Kusch joined. The two albums that were released in this time span (the above mentioned album as well as "Chameleon") are much maligned. But I think “Pink Bubbles” is a hidden gem. Yes, you could hear that they were trying to adopt a more accessible and radio-friendly sound (although let's be honest, apart from their first album they never were never that heavy to begin with) and the guitars get buried in the mix but the songs themselves are good for the most part. With a different producer and some song switched (like taking out the poppy “Number One” and replacing it with “Where The Rain Grows” which was supposed to be on the album but was cut because the producer didn't like it) they could have named it “Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II” and I doubt that many fans would've complained. “Another Perfect Day” by Motörhead. I don't get why people didn't like this album when it came out. Yes it may be a bit polished due to Brian Robertson's involvement but other than that it isn't too different from the other albums they had released up until that point.
  22. Hellraiser

    RIP Lemmy

I don't know which one of the guitarist it was but one of them seemed to be more interested in showing off than playing the damn song!
  23. +1 And I haven't even seen the first season. I really have to rectify that.
  24. I have to say that episode was kinda lame.
