  1. I'm kinda surprised to see Mad Max nominated. But other than that it's very predictable again.
  2. There have been a lot of changes in the band since last you saw them. Victor Smolski, who has been with the band since he helped save it in 1999 when everyone but their singer/bassist Peavy left to form the alternative rock group Sub7even and has since become the creative driving force of the band and probably influenced their sound more than any other guitar player they had, as well as their drummer Andre Hilgers, who has been with them since 2007, have both left the band in the spring of last year. According to Peavy him and Victor where never that close privately and their professional had eroded in recent years since. Apparently he became hard to work with in the studio and was unable to include the other members into his creative process. Victor on the other hand cites missing feedback and inspiration from the other band members as the main reason for the split. Which I find weird. I was under the impression that Peavy was happy with Victor doing most of the heavy lifting when it came to songwriting and that likewise Victor liked the creative freedom he had in the band. But that apparently changed in recent years. It looks like all the little problems they had accumulated until it became impossible for them to work together anymore. Which leads us to another thing that happened: Refuge Refuge is the 1987-1994 line-up consisting of Peavy, Manni Schmidt and Chris Efthimiadis that was reunited in 2014. After Peavy and Chris buried the hatched from their split in 1999 they were asked to play a gig during a small festival organized by the owners of the rehearsal space that them and a lot of other local bands used back in the day using the "Tres Hombres" moniker. It was supposed to be a one time gig. Somehow word got out, a lot of fans came to the gig, the offers started to fly in and they decided to officially re-unite. This isn't a full-time thing though. Both Chris and Manni still have day jobs and they've said that they're doing this for the old time's sake. Which brings us back to Rage: This also seems to have contributed to the split. First of all you couldn't find anything about the Tres Hombres gig on the official Rage homepage and social media channels. Which is strange since this line-up is considered by many fans to be the definitive line-up. Also, according to Peavy, when he wanted Chris and Manni to play with Rage during their 30th anniversary tour later that year both Victor and Andre disagreed and Peavy had to threaten to quit the tour for them to concede. But Rage do still exist and have a new line-up consisting of guitarist and long time fan Marcos Rodríguez as well as drummer Vassilios "Lucky" Maniatopoulos, who is a student of Chris Efthimiadis and was also his drum tech in the 90s. They will release a new EP later this month and a new album in May. They said that they're not going to ignore the musical evolution of the band in the last 15 years but that they're trying to make the new songs less experimental and polished and more raw and straight forward as they did in the late 80s and particularly the mid-90s. As a result of that they're going to play a lot of the songs from that era live that they ignored when Victor was in the band. So I hope that you are down with that.
  3. I was actively fighting against the Brotherhood and the Institute during the Batttle Of Bunker Hill and neither of them turned against me.
  4. The only real way to watch star wars is to pretend the prequels aren't a thing. Disney seems to be happy to do so. Yes, there are some redeeming qualities to Episode III but that movie alone isn't worth watching Episodes I and II.
  5. Can someone explain to me why it is called "Machete Order"? Some kind of reference to the movie staring Danny Trejo?
  6. Judging by his Wikipedia page he was probably deleted because he served time in prison for getting into a fight with two police officers. But since he returned in early december for LLE he should be added back into the game.
  7. I found most of the outfits to be rather ugly. Main quest line spoilers I think I was about level 24 or 25 when I finally got to Diamond City. But that is mainly due to my efforts of avoiding the side quests and exploring the whole map. Which turned out to be a mistake because I got sent to layers I had already cleared all the time. Main quest line spoilers
  8. How do you manage to build all this stuff? Whenever I'm trying to build anthing it looks like shit because half of it is floating in the air due to the ground not being level. I can't even build a goddamn fence around my crops! And since you only can host a maximum of 20 people I don't really see the point. All I did was put up some of these pre-build wooden shacks and beds, water and power suply, some torrets and a couple guard posts, some food and one large room without a door where I keep all of my stuff and Power Armor. That is pretty much it. And for some reason Sanctuary has never been attacked yet. Is that supposed to not happen?
  9. You basically have to disregard anything from the Expended Universe as it is not official cannon anymore. And to be honest I'm quite happy about that.
  10. But he has done nothing since and looking at the current state of TNA I doubt they're going to do any big co-promotion deals with Wrestle-1 anytime soon. But at least we can agree on getting rid of Akebono.
  11. How was Mutoh important? They co-promoted a show in Japan and he did some one-off matches but IIRC he wasn't involved in any major angles during his short stint. From what I understand the main goal with these updates is to trim the data as much as possible. If that is done we can talk about adding certain people back in on a month-to-month basis if they start to appear in the regions playable in the game more often. I'm afraid making exceptions now will start a snowball effect in which everyone demands exceptions because their favorite UK/EU/JP wrestler was in random indy promotion no. 3548349554 for a cup of coffee.
  12. My guess would be that about half of them probably didn't even enjoy the movie trilogy.
  13. In some rare cases I feel they're just f*cking with us when it comes to the credits. Like the extended edition for LotR where they put the name of every member of the Tolkein fanclub in it that joined before a certain date or something like that. Ended up being about 26 or 27 minutes long. Who watches that?
  14. Does anyone here actually watches the credits? I only do it for the Marvel movies and other superhero movies that might have a mid- or post-credit scene or if there is a nice song playing during the credits (like "Song of the Lonely Mountain" for the first Hobbit movie). I know it is disrespectful and all that but I just can't be bothered to sit through them most of the time.
  15. It's a shame. I'm not a big STP fan but I like the two Velvet Revolver albums he was involved in. But if you have followed his career ever since he was fired from STP, or his career as a whole really, it shouldn't come as a surprise.
  16. How about a new game in the Jedi Night series? Or a remake of part 2.
  17. Avatar: The Last Airbender. From the looks of the few minutes of the show I've seen I thought it was just an attempt by a western studio to profit off of the popularity of Anime by ripping off some of their more popular tropes. A stupid show for kids created not to tell a compelling story but simply to sell merch. I decided that I was too old for it and skipped it during it's entire run. It was a combination of a friend of mine being really into Korra (the sequel show) and trying to get me interested into the show as well as the Nostalgia Critic bringing it up very often in his reviews that made me finally watch it. And I loved it. Each episode. As well as the sequel show (although I admit that it had a lot of problems).
  18. This line of reasoning is why Bill's updates got so bloated in the first place. It doesn't take much work to add these guys back in if you want to use them. I say delete them if they don't wrestle regularly on US soil. Take Keiji Mutoh for example. According to Cagematch he only wrestled in 3 matches outside of Japan from 2013 to today. All these were one-off's for TNA. Should he really be in the database because of that? Let's take a random name from the list posted: Masa Takanashi. According to wrestling-data he hasn't had a match in the USA since 2011. Why should he be in there?
  19. 12 Monkeys. I remember watching a review by confusedmatthew in which he thrashed the movie and because I used to hold his opinions about movies in high regard I refused to watch it for a while. After listening to podcast in which the participants raved about the movie and because I've become a fan of Terry Gilliam movies in general I decided to give it a try and I ended up loving it.
  20. The Home Alone Movies Scrooged Trading Places (I know this isn't a christmas movie per se but we watch it anyway) The Last Unicorn Die Hard Those are the ones I always end up watching. The rest depends on whatever is on TV.
  21. And you probably won't find one. Only few scenario creators made pick packs to go with their scenarios. I suggest you look for the pictures you need here: http://s172.photobucket.com/user/TheWho87EWR/library/Wrestlers?sort=9&page=1
