  1. How are Becchio, Delph and Howson rated on it? I reckon Howson will be highest rated of the three when should be Delph, although if they actually get Delphs position right this year its a step up. To be fair White never signed a professional contract until start of September, so all stats may only be up til end of transfer window but rectified on release. Whats the press conferences like? Strangley that seems to be the thing I'm most interested, and I don't want to download the demo as it'll only make me want the release even more

  4. Old Harry agreed it go, was just talking to SSN about it. Everyone saying he's a great manager but they forget the job he did prior to his second shift at Pompey. I ain't saying he's rubbish by any means, probably the best English manager about but he's by no means the solution. If anyone should go, it should be Levy. He's there to make decisions and I can't think of any he got right Weren't Harry trying to ban Spurs fans the other week after they slaughtered Campbell? That'll all be forgotten now

  7. Ridsdales a cunt, his wifes a slag As a Leeds fan I tend to have a bit of sympathy for teams going down the crapper (like Rotherham), however if any of the big four, Spurs or Newcastle went the way of us, nothing would make me happier. If anything Newcastle are the ones who should be most worried, they remind me of us when we got relegated from the Premiership

  13. Saw that apparantly the roster list got leaked off the official site, and its The Big Show Brian Kendrick Carlito Curt Hawkins Edge The Great Khali Jeff Hardy Jimmy Wang Yang Maria Michelle McCool Kennedy Shelton Benjamin Triple H Umaga The Undertaker Victoria Zack Ryder Batista Beth Phonix Candice Chris Jericho Chuck Polumbo CM Punk Cody Rhodes Hardcore Holly JBL Jillian Hall John Cena Kane Kofi Kingston Lance Cade Layla Melina Mickie James Mr. McMahon Paul London Randy Orton Rey Mysterio Santino Marella Shawn Michaels Snitsky William Regal The Boogeyman Chavo Guerrero Elijah Burke Finlay John Morrison Mark Henry Matt Hardy Miz Tazz Tommy Dreamer Hornswoggle Although going off the countdown, it misses off Cryme Tyme, Kelly Kelly and Ashley, so I'm not sure how legit it is
  14. On one hand I see the if its not broken, don't fix it mentality as the last European Championships were great. Thing is most of the games featuring the bigger teams (Germany, Italy, France) tend to be more one sided and less open, whereas a game with two average teams (Czech/Turkey) can produce brilliance. I'd try it for a tournament or two at least to see how it works. The only thing I'm against is 3rd place teams in groups Qualifying, after they changed the UEFA Cup format to stop Cup Finalist losers qualifying, as they want only winners involved

  20. Think you can only listen on ITunes. If you have it its on the iTunes store and search for Football Manager 2009. They do talk about the Internationals last week as well, and the Podcast is an hour long By the way, just remembered other teams can take players on trial too. Again nothing too much
  21. Heard some Podcast thing they done and they unveiled some new features on it. Nothing major... Player match ratings now decimal, so a player can get 6.7 out of 10 as opposed to either a 6 or 7 Injury time goals show as 90+2 as opposed to 90 Some MLS stuff about drafts and trades. People who follow those leagues would understand it far better than I did
  22. Playing as Birmingham I had the strangest (and best) matches ever. Drew Preston in the Playoff semis with the first leg at home, and after drawing 3-3 at half time I went on to win 8-4. Thinking it was safe I kept the same formation, but that came back to haunt me in the second leg as I found myself 4-0 down after half hour (8-8 agg). After half time we started exchanging goals until they were 6-2 up in the 80 minute when they took the lead (11-10 agg) but Kevin Phillips, only on the bench due to an injury to another player, equalized in the 93rd minute sending it to extra time. In Extra Time Phillips scored again, this time in the 103rd minute and giving us a 12-11 lead and it was all going so well until Neil Mellor scored to equalise with the last kick of the game, finishing 8-4 to them, 12 each on aggragate and sending it to Penalties Where I lost 3-0
