Your Top 10 Songs Right Now

Just a rule, the shit's got to be fairly current. So released and getting radio airplay since the beginning of the year, maybe into late 04.

So.... What's your favourite 10 songs of the moment?

----------

Me, here's my top 10, probably for the next month...

1. "Just a Little Bit" - 50 Cent

2. "Some Cut" - Trillville / Cutty

3. "This Is Your Life" - Switchfoot

4. "I'm a Hustla" - Cassidy / Jay-Z

5. "It's Like That" - Mariah Carey / Jermaine Dupri

6. "Let Me Go" - 3 Doors Down

7. "Bring Em Out" - T.I. / Jay-Z"

8. "I Like It" - Narcotic Thrust

9. "Wait (Till You See My Dick)" - Ying Yang Twinz

10. "Girlfight" - Brooke Valentine / Lil' Jon

This hasn't differed much from the list I posted last month on another board. Only a few songs sit now at the bottom that aren't there before. And this might not change for another few weeks.

Sad part about this list, a dance song makes it all the way to #8. Please help me - especially since I'm straight, never taken ecstacy, and don't live in suburban New Jersey...

By released do you mean album released or single released? I'm gonna go with single (Well doesn't have to be sold as a single but you know, played on radio has a video etc.)

1. Dakota - Stereophonics (I've fallen back in love with them after years of being shitty)

2. The Widow - The Mars Volta

2. Cigaro - System of a Down

4. Honest Mistake - The Bravery

5. Hellicopter - Bloc Party

6. Lyla - Oasis (Really growing on me, was unsure at first)

7. Toy Soldiers - Eminem

8. Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz

9. Analog - Strung Out (Lyrically awesome, some of the best work Jason has done. Musically it's a little meh. Still a hell of a lot better than most 'mainstream' stuff out there).

10. Hounds of Love - The Futureheads (I forgot about this. I haven't been as into The Killers sicne they started re-releasing all their songs again. It's not the fact everyone now loves them it's just that the buzz has gone and everywhere I turn I hear them. At first it was awesome but now it's getting old but I still listen to "Hot Fuss" every now and then and it's still great).

The "fairly current" and "radio airplay" parts of the first post fucked me. I usually listen to mixtape MCs or 80's punk. >_<

3. Number One Spot - Ludacris

Is that the one that he performed on Letterman the other night? I'm pretty sure there was a line in that song (that he performed on Letterman) that had something about a "number one spot". If that's the song, it's pretty good.

Yeah, that's the one. I've heard it on mix tapes and burn CD's people got. But not on the radio, least in Hartford/NYC/Vegas yet.
