I don't like military confrontation, mainly because when there is some. I don't win.

I'm preeeeeeeeetty bad at it when it comes to military confrontations. I do fine when I just keep to myself and keep progressing my technology, but when wars are declared things go south fast.

Has anyone found out yet if the 360 demo has online multiplayer? If so, I'm tempted to try it out with some of you. Preferably those that suck at the war aspect of the game.

Yeah the demo for Civ Rev has online multiplayer capabilities, I'm pretty sure.

I also don't balance my technologies with my military enough. Do people alternate, or have specific cities catering more to military?

Because if someone declared war on me at any point, I'd be fucked.

Are you talking about Civ Rev? There's no PC demo for Civ Rev. It's on PS3/DS/360.

So I now have Warlords and Beyond the Sword...I tried to go online, but it froze up completely. Couldn't Ctrl+Alt+Del out....maybe a direct IP game would work? Because I really wanna play with one of you guys.

anyone with Civ 3 know if playing online with dialup is a good experience or is it really slow ? never played an Civ online

Alright, that works for me.

Jeezdamn I am bad at this. I was playing a game as Arabia and I kept getting attacked by Barbarians, they killed my units defending Mecca (capital city) and I couldn't get any to Mecca within one turn so the Barbarians captured Mecca.. and then the goddamn Egyptians swooped in and took it from the Barbarians. I WILL reclaim Mecca, Egypt. Oh, I WILL.
