World of Warcraft

Ok all Christopher's friends are talking about this game and how he should get on it and play with them. He has made strong hints that he would like it for Christmas. I want him to be happy and all, but is he going to be a computer playing vegetable who doesn't pay attention to us anymore if I buy it?

Former or current players please help me on this rough rough decision.

So, I'm done with WoW and Blizzard.    For those of you that are unaware, long story short a Hearthstone player won a tournament, at the end of his interview expressed support for the Hong K

I was talking about this last night on my stream with a couple viewers (That's right, I had 2 viewers at once...and 3 altogether..thanks Cloudy 😛) and I'm excited for 8.2. I haven't been as disappoint

All women on WoW are whores and will try to steal your husband even further.

WoW=THE DEVIL

Don't get it unless you have to, any MMO is better than WoW. =/

Only because it's TOO good, if you're a social person then get a different MMO, this is evily addictive.

Get him the game, and maybe try it yourself. Share an account. There's a married couple in my guild and they only have one computer and share an account (they each have separate characters). That will give you something to do in your spare time and will keep you both from playing too long by knowing you each need to play.

This isn't directly related to WoW, but a MMORPG is a MM0RPG.. An online friend of a friend was threatening to kill himself earlier in the week... Why? Because his girlfriend wasn't spening enough time with him...

His 'girlfriend' was someone he had never met in person, and only knew through the game(EQ2, for those wondering). And 'she' wasn't spending time with him because she joined a guild. Why couldn't he join the same guild? Because he 'didn't like' the guild. And apparently, his 'girlfriend' joining this guild was a malicious act, because apparently 'she' knew he didn't like the guild.

What the hell do these games do to people?! :huh:

online RPGs are not good for any kind of offline life, but i think you once said you play CoH so why don´t give him what you demand for yourself aswell ?

get you kid a permanent babysitter, just to secure one of the 3 persons in your household might not starve becaus of the online games.

Thats actually a good point but CoH sucked so we didnt renew after the free month. If anything I might get it for him and play too like someone suggested.

To be honest I can't see how people can sit down and play the game for, say, 6 hours. I own, play and enjoy the game but the most I've spent on at once is maybe 3. I think the people that get addicted to this game for a long period of time are ones with no lives and/or nothing else in their life that matters. Since your his wife I'd say he does have something important in his life to worry about. I also recall you mentioning being a mother, so if he's a dad too I really can't see this being a problem. At first he might play it a lot but after a week or two it'll be old news.

I play WoW for long periods of time, so I guess I'm a loser with no life which I'd gladly be as opposed to someone who assumes things about people just because they really like a videogame.
