Sorry Reil, I actually did click your first two links but for some reason didn't click your last link. Hey, the good news is somebody remembers the show.

This thread made me look at a bunch of stuff from my childhood like David the Gnome. What a brilliant show that was, and it surprisingly sophisticated language for kids. The backround music was also pretty cool, I suggest fans of this show look it up on youtube.

Actually, wikipedia is a cool source for this kind of thing. I searched for Nickelodeon and got a list of shows aired on it. So many fucking memories.

The Super Mario Bros Super Show intro was so much better. It featured the line "you'll be hooked on the brothers", for Christ's sake!

And the ending had "Do The Mario", complete with Lou Albano's tremendous dancing talent.

Man, in regards to quality cartoons, kids of our generation (people old enough to remember the late 80s and early 90s television) had it really fucking good. I can sit and still remember all of this stuff as vividly as I did after class, or on a saturday morning (and honestly, who didn't look forward to saturday morning cartoons? Your gay if you didn't).
