Dexter - Father Knows Best - 7/10

And the streak of awesome shows ends with episode 1x09. Kind of boring as nothing really happens here. Dexter just finds out his dad died even though Harry told him his father died over 30 years ago and he always use to believe Harry until know. And we find out the Ice Truck Killer/Rudy was the one who killed him and then kills the only witness being the old lady. And we find out that Angel is willing to snitch on people but the case is dropped when we find out Sgt. Doakes was a former member of some top military group. But yeah, nothing good happens here. I am not really liking Rudy as the Ice Truck Killer at all. He better get better.

Casino Royale: 8.5/10

Brilliant, would've been 9.5 if it wasn't for the lovey fifteen minutes or so. I had my doubts when Craig was first cast, I knew he was an excellent actor but he looks like a bad guy. After seeing it though it's clear he was the best choice by a million miles; role on 22.

Dirty Deeds - 6/10

Good young cast, plot hole toward the end, and was a tad cheesy. Typical high school/college type film that is enjoyable to watch, but nothing too great.

And it had an abundance of titties!

Howard the Duck (1986)

Words do not describe the awfulness of this movie. I laughed. I cried. I considered suicide. Terrible, rediculous plotline, extremely over the top, cheesy acting. Even Lea Thompson let me down. Nethertheless, it was a fun way to spend 2 hours. I just never wanna watch this again.

Freaks And Geeks - 1x01 - Pilot - 7.5/10

So yeah Ringo said this would be a good show to watch and it was. Nothing great or anything but still good. I am almost certain I have seen at least one episode of this show before, though, as I remembered the gym teacher (Biff from Back to the Future) and Sam's father do his "he's dead" thing before. But Sam's feud with Allan is good. I liked Sam's friends vs. Allan in a fight, too. And Eli is going to be a good character. And I am not sure on the names, but the guy who plays Marshall in How I Met Your Mother is a good character in this as well.

Casino Royale - 6/10

I'm not sure what it was but it was a bit off. I may have a higher opinion on it if I get to watch it in a seat that doesn't make my butt numb but for now, I'm only giving it a 6/10. The opening scene(s) and credits were fantastic and I love Cornell's theme but I don't think the movie flowed together very well. Craig isn't too bad of a choice for Bond, though, I thought he was pretty good.

I'm watching Dom Joly's Happy Hour right now. I've been really enjoying this series, despite the often lame scripted moments. They actually get some pretty damn entertaining moments from almost all the places they go, mostly because of Joly's ability to say absolutely anything.

Superman Returns - 9/10

Just got the DVD and realized how good this movie really is. Sure it's not the action spectacular I was expecting at first but it's a really great character driven film. Just wish Luthor's plan was better.

Also, just watched thee making of doc and Christian Cage popped up sitting with the writters, just out of nowehere. Was kinda cool.

Scream 3: 6.5/10

Not a big fan of the series, but all 3 are fairly good and have an interesting plot and good acting. The series also manages to remain canon (which is a rarity for horror franchises). Not as good as 1 or 2, but still decent, and a fitting ending to the trilogy.

Casino Royale: 8/10

Awesome Bond film, loved Eva Green, and Craig>>>>>Brosnan, although maybe it has to do with the films Brosnan was in. (Like Die Another Day and Tomorrow Never Dies :puke: )

:The Jacket:

Tag Line(s): "Terror has a new name"......"When you die, all you want to do is come back"....."I was 27 years old the first time I died"

Plot Outline(s):

The film centers on a wounded Gulf war veteran who returns to his native Vermont suffering from bouts of amnesia. He is hitching and gets picked up by a stranger, things go pear shaped when a cop pulls them over and is murdered by the stranger. The vet. is wrongly accused of killing the cop and lands up in an asylum. A quack doctor prescribes a course of experimental therapy, restraining him in a heavy duty straight jacket-like device, and locks him away in a body drawer of the basement morgue. During course of his treatment he gets flashbacks and visions of his future , where he can foresee he is to die in four days time. The catch is he doesn't know how. Thus commences the classic race against time.

Dexter - 1x10 - Seeing Red - 8/10

A step up from last weeks where nothing really happened. Dexter fainting at a crime scene when he got the same flashbacks he had during the session with the therapist was great as was Sgt. Doakes' reaction to him finally being human. Masuka was great again here as usual. And Rudy wanting to talk about Dexter instead of having sex with Debra is just creepy. This guy is seriously screwed up. Then he actually stays over Dexter's house instead of going to Debra's to have sex, so that's twice he passes it up. Clearly he is gay. :shifty: Angel getting a lead on the Ice Truck Killer by finding a prostitute with a fake hand and multi-colored finger nails and then talks to Rudy who shows us it was him (not that it wasn't obvious). And Dexter not killing Rita's ex but instead making it look like he drugged himself, go drunk, and might kill himself to violate his parole was a nice ending. I thought for sure he was going to kill him, but he surprised me and just sent him back to jail. Then he goes back to the crime scene and gets the same flashback and we see some woman call his name out as she gets cut into pieces by a chainsaw. And Angel getting stabbed by who I assume is Rudy, was great as well.

Carrie (1976)

Just as good as I remembered it to be when I saw it 3 years ago. One of the best horror movies I've ever seen. Carrie's also one of my favorite novels. They were quite a bit of differences, but what was changed for the movie wasn't bad at all.

9/10
