Football Manager 2008

any recomendations? ^_^

and shit  Alan Irvine decided to leave Everton as Assistant Manager and join Tottenham so I signed Rob Witschge as a replacement ^_^ he said Baines is best senior defender :P

For a LB, it's either Fabio or Rafael...should now be at Utd in your game. When they joined me after the arranged transfer they were both playing brilliantly. One of them can play at LB...not sure which. Both are good, but very young. I'd recommend signing them if you can, even if it is to keep them for a few years and send them out on loan.

They missed a few out, apparently. But it's just some names you might want to invest in.

Personally, I say watch out for Lewis Haldane of Bristol Rovers :shifty:

I kid... he's shit.

Hey this game is pretty good, its not much better then last years but it is a bit better. l got it yesterday and started with manchester utd.

i played some friendly matches and won all 5. Then against chelsea for the community shield im up 2-1 in the 90th minute then all of the sudden some pass comes from their goalie directly to sheva and it was clearly offside, but he runs and scores, then in 93th minute same thing again this time he lobes my goalie and i lose 2-3 lol.

A few interesting situations such as the fact that i played sunderland in the second game of the league and im up 1-0, nani scored and the referee handes out 4 red cards in a row for the opposing team, from like the 20th till the 70th minute and im pretty sure thats a automatic 3-0 win since you only have 7 players on the field. Anyways i relaxed and ended up winning 3-0, but it was very strange, anybody ever got that? Ill post the screenshot in a bit.

It's anything below 7 I believe. You can have 4 red cards but anything over that and the games done.

I actually have had that on this game, well not me personally, so to speak. On my Gretna game I was so afraid of playing Rangers at Ibrox I just let my assistant do it. When I got control back I had a bunch of news about my players being suspended. I look up the match screen and I had 4 guys sent off. We still only lost 1-0. :shifty:

Correct if u get 5 people sent off than the game gets abadoned.

I've found a good young midfielder from Belgium; Steven Defour 19 years of age and got some impressive stats and can play Centre Mid or Attacking Mid. He has some experience however in playing Striker, Right Mid, Attacking Right Mid and Attacking Left Mid. Currently my scout says he isn't far from having the required potential to be better than Deco,
