That's a tricky draw for Everton, potentially hazardous there. Aberdeen looked doomed unfortunately...

I personally hate these European group stages, it's just a way to give the bigger clubs that have more power/influence less chance of not qualifying through an iffy result.

Poor Aberdeen.

They could have been 3 or 4-0 down within the first 10 minutes, but played well to contain Atletico after that, and even created some chances of their own - They then gave a stupid penalty away on the stroke of HT. Forlan steps up, 1-0.

Will take something special to come back from this, I think.
