This Sheffield Derby has been awesome. Both teams have had a man sent off, yet United have 10 and Wednesday have 11 on the pitch. 1-0 to Wednesday at the moment, but this game has been kick ass. There's only about 15 mins left but I still won't guess the final score.

Cockdribbles. Having Kilgallon sent off with a terrible refeering decision JUST as we were beginning to play well was shite, then Paddy Kenny comes off his line for no reason.... But to be fair we were a bit shit.

Leeds to sign Dean Windass on loan today (or at the latest tomorrow)... That's the rumour anyway.

Grr... we could do with him since Showunmi is our only backup striker and he's so wank at shooting that it took him 2 attempts to score in an open net from a yard out. But I'm not sure how much he'll offer to our game and plus he supposidly hates Leeds, so I don't know if his heart would be in it. I'd be happier if we waited until January to get a new striker in and brough in a central defender on loan instead, since we're leaking goals all over the shop.

Apparently we turned him down earlier this week, which, despite our current troubles, is a good move as he's an out-of-shape 39 year old who probably wouldnt do the job we want him too.

And Ive read in several places that Leeds will have to slash their wage bill first as Windass will be on around 10 grand a week.

Westlake (probably on 4k or so, given he was signed in the Championship and was considered good back then) and Johnson (probably on 3k or so) have both gone on loan in the past couple of days. We probably wouldn't pay his full wage anyway but still, he'd be an expensive back-up and he wouldn't be good enough to displace show-pony or Becchio.

So apparently he's staying put for the weekend at least because he's been told he'll get a runout at Old Trafford. This has happened with every player we've signed in the last year, it's taken them forever to decide if they want to come or not, annoying as fuck.

So we've lost Adie Boothroyd, Stan Ternent and John Ward in the space of a day, who'd be a football manager nowadays?

Looks like Leicester are out of the Paint Trophy, I would have enjoyed a trip to Wembley :( Rotherham have now knocked out us and Leeds, not a bad crack from a side with negative figures of money and who are a league below.

Why has Ternent been sacked!? Didnt he take the job in April? We played them at the Galpharm fairly late in the season and that was when they were in between managers. Seems odd.

Carlisle are on a poor run of form, but then we're on an even worse one (I think) and our manager remains intact.

Well at least it's not as embarassing that we lost to Rotherham now, note: as embarassing, because we shouldn't be losing to tin pot clubs like them.

Derby thrashed Brighton in round 4 (I think )of the CC which means we have to play them in the last 16 next week... Yay. Seriously, we go on an awesome run in the Cup and we're going to get knocked out by fucking Direby before we even play a Premier League side... I fucking hate cup draws.

Edit: Ternant has been sacked because he's complete and utter wank. It's a shame though, because if he'd stayed on, I'd have put money on them going down.

They're only a division below you

Leeds and Leicester are barely scalps for them. They've knocked out championship sides Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Southampton* out of the Carling Cup this season.

We're a bigger club than all those sides. Regardless of whether they have beaten those teams, we still shouldn't be losing to teams in the division below us - or most of the sides in our division.

How are Leeds any bigger than Wolves?

You're in League One because you're as good as the teams around you.

Actually, no. We're in league one because of:

That cunt.

And even if we weren't it doesn't stop us being a bigger club, they'd just be better than us.
