Looking at their squad it is full of players who are either just not good enough or just can't be bothered or have potential that has been lost at Newcastle (like Duff).

Fortunately they have a great golie who won't go anywhere.

Harper's a decent back up Goalkeeper. I think I've mentioned in the thread before when Given left I thought we were going down.

Is there a definite reason why everyone hates Newcastle? Is it just because we have a load of fans that can't string a sentence together and think we're still a top 5 club? I've always wondered why there's so much hate.

I've never liked Newcastle and I think it stems from the fact that they've always acted bigger than they actually are, especially in recent years, plus I've disliked pretty much every manager they've had since I got into football apart from Sir Bobby.
