Seriously, I wasn't condemning anyone's tastes or any of these bands for that matter, just merely stating how the list is going so far for me, like a few other people have done.

It's all relative to opinion, remember that.

Well, except maybe Tenacious D, but not enough to rant about them. They're not worth it.

I wouldn't call anyone on the list "generic indie", though, except maybe The Shins.
