Well, it did mean seeing her in bikinis in M&S ads and so on...

In fact, given that the list seems to be approximately equal parts a) Celebrities who try and live a normal life, b) Celebrities who try and live like celebrities, and c) Non-entities who try and live like celebrities, it seems that so long as you appear in Heat magazine more than once then you're annoying.

Nevertheless, I look forward to high placings for Russell Brand, Jonathan Ross, Jeremy Clarkson and Chris Moyles... And probably the Big Brother lot, the X Factor lot and the Strictly Come Dancing lot (except for John Sergeant, obviously). I don't think any of them especially deserve a high placing, but I would wager that they'd place above that woman who had her daughter kidnapped, which I would actually say was the most annoying thing I've seen in the news this year.

Well, except for the whole Brand/Ross/Sachs thing - but can you induct the entire media on the basis of overreaction?

This list would be at the top of my list. Quickly followed by the press, and their non-stop coverage about people I couldn't care less about (Lindsay Lohan, Gary Glitter and so on).

I love the fact they put Brand on there, and not the one they still employ, Jonathan Ross. Although in their defense, Brand was always an annoying twat, whereas Ross was actually funny once upon a time.

I kind of took US Election to mean "Barrack and McCain" and have no real problem lumping groups of people together because it'd be shit for them to waste 12 spots on BB... maybe got a bit of a problem with lumping Boy Bands together, but the others I can live with.

Probably cos she doesn't look like the "safe" female beauties that the female journalists like and asipre to be cos they're safe and semi-attainable buxom English lasses. They get freaked out at her more exotic and weird look and how popular she got quickly and can wear anything and next week shlub like FACE magazine drool and say it's cool.
