So explain to me why I KO every sing opponent I get into the Octogon with, but as soon as it's one of my big PPV matchups I always lose?

A combination of the difficulty of the AI riseing and your fighter climbing the lader faster than he is training his skills.

Yep, I 100% agree with Matzat.

In your next career, You might want to try taking on the lowest ranked guys that your offered, This might help slow your climb up the ladder until you can improve your fighters skills.

Finally got my first submission victory this morning on the UFC demo. Hell yes! I'll be getting this as soon as I can find enough rubbish to trade in against the price.

I've heard there are some brilliant parts, but they're off-set by some pretty major flaws. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

So, after last night, I only have 3 achievements to go.

Win every title (only heavyweight to go)

Roster run through.

Get a million fans.

The last two are going to be a fucking annoying grind. I am only halfway to getting a million fans

Roster run through is annoying, especially as the "game progress" thing isn't much help if you've used some characters outside of exhibition offline, and after each match you get thrown back to the controller select screen and the weight class selection screen. Zzzzzz...

My amount of fans seem to be going up REALLY slowly now. :(

Never mind flash KOs, fuck flash submissions.:shifty:

Isn't one of the weekly gold medal thingys to lock in and win by submission on the first attempt? God damn I just did it and din't see them give it to me.

I think this game is slowly breaking my controller. Damn right stick raping. When block say a head punch/kick, are you meant to flick the stick up at the impact point, or as they're kicking you.

And 100 wins with an awesome victory over a "submission specialist" who was a fair bit higher than me in 2 mins. (H)

Did you throw punches/kicks? If you did, you have to land them 100% of the time, too.

Did you boost the weekly one?

No!

I just got tapped out 15 seconds into the game in career mode. Full Health (obviously), tapping like a crazy person. What. The. Fuck. Ended up throwing my controller at the wall. Now my shoulder button's fucked. Not happy overall.

Went 14-0 in my Lightweight career going into my title first - went four rounds, deep in the fourth Huerta mounted and GnP'd me to a pulp. Got mad and turned of the console. Just re-did the fight, willing to accept defeat and got GnP'd in the first this time easily. Should have taken the four round brawl.

Just started playing online - think my record is 8-6, but think the "Ooh, in your face" trophy might be glitched. Knocked a guy out with a superman punch, but no trophy.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

God dammnit! Won the Light Heavyweight title after taking my time, working my way through the lower rankings, then after ONE defence, I lose it. No matter, I'll just work harder. Spar a lot, improve my stats, rematch for the title, this time I dominate and win. Then, in my first defence, I lose to Shogun, who I've beaten a MILLION times without any trouble, after he locks on a fucking arm bar out nowhere. ARGH!

This is quite an interesting game, if difficult to get into. My Heavyweight fighter, Darryl "The Grim Reaper" Blakeney (the name sounds really familiar, but I can't place where it's from) won the first fight, lost the second and has knocked out all three opponents since in the opening minute of the second round with a high head kick. It'd be nice if I were becoming the American Cro Cop, but I'm getting the wins by takedowns in the first round, beating the shit out of their heads and trying not to die. I like this game, and it was only £25.

Ahahah I just knocked some guy out in fifteen seconds I love this game
