Well, considering USC and their BCS path seemingly guaranteed every year - boy would it be disappointing playing the Emerald Bowl against Boston College instead of right down the road in the Rose Bowl and Ohio State.

I live in Lubbock, TX and I'm a USC fan...I hate the way the Texas Tech fans act in general, total reflection of coach Leach. I want to like this team, but there are too many assholes to justify me hoping they do well.

Eh, I am sure he'll have no problem finding work elsewhere. Even if he's nuts he's still had a lot of winning season and utilizes an attractive style of play that'll draw fans to your program.

But yeah, losing 800K would be pretty awful. Not that he's hurting for money or anything.

His lawyer is saying they're going to sue and try to get the remaining $10 million that he's owed. So they'll probably end up settling, and he'll end up with $3-5 million like Mangino got.

Great to see Bowden end his career on a high note. I didn't know in that first half if they'd be able to hang with, and overtake West Ginny, but they did and I'm happy for the man.

Under Bowden the Seminoles had 14 consecutive seasons with 10 or more wins and a top 5 finish. They had a record of 152-19-1 between these years (11 of their 19 losses were decided by 7 points or less). FSU's accomplishments in these 14 seasons included 11 bowl wins, 9 ACC championships in 9 years, 2 Heisman Trophy winners, and 2 National Championships. Between '93 and '01 they played in 5 National Title Games.

The recent "USC Dynasty" managed to last only half as long.
