Is anyone else worried that it's getting to a point where there are just too many guest stars for a 13 episode series?

Not really. Chances are, a majority of them don't have very big parts and they're just stunt casting because it's likely the final season.

NBC is looking down the barrel at yet another year where every new comedy they try fails, mind you.

Like, the fact that they haven't outright announced it's the last year of Community, unlike what they did with Chuck, makes me think they could actually give in and give the show its sixth season, billing it as conclusively the last.
