Yeah the tone of the first one definitely threw me off at first but the second one felt like vintage Harmon Community.

It was inevitable but this episode just reminded me how terrible it'll be to lose Glover's impeccable line delivery.

the Pierce appearance? I flipped when I thought there might be a chance of Ghost Pierce, but the punchline explanation was better still.

I wasn't really amazed with either episode, really - but it was still good. The first episode in particular could've been shortened a bit and released on the internet before the primer as a primer - was my instant thought.

But the whole:

Second one was pretty good, but it felt weird in contrast to the first, which I wasn't so amazed by. Banks was great, didn't like the flip flop of Jeff going bad-good.

It's good to have Alison Brie back on my television, though. Also holy shit is Winger super ripped now.

No, what would have been insulting would have been Abed waking up and all being a dream, etc. The gas leak year stuff is just typical Community meta humor.
