So the Chelsea U18s were in a two-legged semi final of the FA Youth Cup against Spurs U18s. The 2nd leg was last night.

Spurs won the 1st leg (at home) 2-0, and then after 30-odd minutes of the 2nd leg had scored again, so were 3-0 up on aggregate with less than an hour left in the tie.

Final aggregate score?

Chelsea 5 - 4 Spurs

I miss when teams would randomly release musical singles.

It was the 1996 FA cup final song!

In 1988 Liverpool, of course, had this:

Some of that Chelsea side are going to be great players for Vitesse in the future.

We're the best national team at the moment. Still, I wonder if we're being lucky or if the players are going 110% when the other teams are going 80% because Brazil played mostly friendlies.

Except your're not the best national team. This is 8 months removed from getting an absolute spanking from Germany at home, with the world watching.

Friendlies also count for absolutely nothing.

No one achieved better results than we did post-World Cup. Sure, nothing is certain, we might get spanked by Argentina in the Copa America but we went through two top teams in these last 8 months. Something that only Argentina (who we beat) did.

None of that makes Brazil better than Germany.
