2011 College Football Season

Recommended Posts

Another monkey wrench thrown into the Big East title race. Rutgers knocks off Cincinnati 20-3, jumps to 4-2 in the division and (for now) in the lead. Louisville and West Virginia hold tiebreakers over the Scarlet Knights, so RU will need each of them to lose in their finales.

It's SECupcake week. Someone needs to intervene and stop this from happening every year.

They deserve a week off considering they play in the MOST COMPETITIVE CONFERENCE IN AMERICA!~ Now granted the SEC is only 2 teams deep this year, but FLORIDA, AUBURN, GEORGIA & TENNESSEE still have name value even in down years.

Arkansas is totally boned next week, aren't we? :(

Next year's going to be interesting given that half of our best guys are graduating this year..

So we're pretty much guaranteed an all SEC rematch in the BCS Title game if Oklahoma loses tonight. If Arkansas beats LSU, they'd end up playing either 'Bama or LSU again and we all know the game that put most of America to sleep is what the BCS wants to force upon us.

Interestingly (for me at least) is that Oregon and Clemson and Oklahoma maybe, will possibly go below Boise in the rankings again. Should Arkansas lose and Stanford lose this week (Cal keeping it close for now), would you keep a non AQ 5/6 ranked team out of a BCS game?
