Motorhead are the fucking best. I know they're not massively popular around these parts, but fuck it, I love them. It's rock and roll done exactly how rock and roll should be done, and Lemmy is one of the coolest motherfuckers on the planet.

Mew are nice, but in the same category as Sigur Ros for me - I like them, would easily listen to them, but rarely go out of my way to do so.

Oasis are absolute bollocks.

No Doubt had some cool songs. But, yeah, seriously, how did this even happen? If I weren't friends with so many lesbians, I wouldn't have even thought about them any more than I think about Goo Goo Dolls, Indigo Girls, Ani DiFranco or anyone else on the Lesbian Required Listening List.

Black Keys are pretty cool. Always mean to check out more of their stuff. Never do.

Mastodon are pretty awesome. Not usually my thing, and I kind of always assumed I wouldn't like them for the longest time, and ended up seeing them live almost by mistake (my friends were front row for their set, The Melvins were coming on immediately after them, so I figured I may as well join them), and they were absolutely incredible. Last couple of albums have been great, though again, not the kind of thing I go out of my way to listen to all that much.

Never heard Alestorm, though I can't imagine I'd like them.

Rilo Kiley are nice enough.

Blind Guardian are the kind of metal I find really boring, and a bit silly.

The Offspring are shit. Come Out And Play is a good song, with a nice little riff, but everything else is bollocks.

I find the Manics really boring. I go through the odd short phase of loving Generation Terrorists, or at least just Motorcycle Emptiness, but for the most part they're just not very interesting, and haven't been for a long time.

Elvis Costello's great - released a lot of shit, but when he's good, he's awesome. "All This Useless Beauty" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Pixies are awesome. Really fucking awesome.

Hendrix is cool, not a huge fan, but I can see why people are. Some awesome songs, too.

Nightwish are shit.

Sevendust are shitter.

Why are White Zombie and Rob Zombie counted as one thing? Either way, they're okay...I like White Zombie quite a bit, and Rob Zombie can be a bit silly, but has a few good songs. Kind of get annoyed by them as I have to play their stuff when I'm DJing metal nights a lot, but they're pretty cool, and have a good sound.

Wu-Tang are fucking awesome, end of.
