That bummed me out, because it seemed like such a cheap thing to do. "Here's this established main character from one of our other games, whoops, look how KER-AZY this guy is, he killed him!"

Also, it didn't fit Johnny's character at all. He went from a tee-totaling biker to strung out addict with no explanation whatsoever. I really hope they don't do that to Luis from Gay Tony, I really liked him too.

Got Hitman in PSN's Black Friday Sales and really enjoying it. It's a lot more challenging than Absolution, It feels quite a lot like a mix of what Absolution did right mixed with the more sandbox style of Blood Money which is one of my favourite games ever. Took me ages to get through the first three levels so far. Downsides of the game is there are quite a few glitches like voices skipping, or when I punched a janitor and he got stuck in the wall. Also it does break the immersion a bit when you're in different locations around the world and almost everyone has an American Accent.

New update for No Man's Sky released today - adds a bunch of new features, and whole new game modes that move it a little closer to some of what was initially promised. Haven't had chance to play it yet to know how good any of it is, but might encourage me to give it another go when I'm done with World of Final Fantasy

I played for an hour or two this morning. Doesn't seem to have majorly changed the game play of the game, but there is little tweaks. I honestly did not have a huge problem with the game in the first place, but the update did give me reason to go back and play a for a bit. I'll probably toy around with it for the next couple of weeks and return back when they release another update.

It's not new. I've been trying to do it with your negative comments in the Walking Dead thread, and countless folks in The Ring too (until I gave up on there) :P

Woah, woah, woah, woah. It is only this season of TWD that I have been negan-tive (:w00t:), you are the one who calls it misery porn.

Now kiss me, you slag.

Urgh, I'm so excited for 2017/18 in gaming. New Last of Us, new Red Dead, new Mass Effect, new Kojima game, new Crash Bandicoot, new Resident Evil, FFVII remake, FFXII remaster, Ni No Kuni 2, Tekken 7, new Zelda, some kind of new Uncharted game/spin-off, plus anything else not announced/remembered and new IPs that come to the forefront. Next couple of years are going to be dope.

Other than the big ones like Mass Effect, RDR etc, mine would be EDF 5 and Crackdown 3. The next South Park I'll get at some point as well (just finished playing SoT for the first time yesterday actually) and I'm still somewhat vaguely interested in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Sea of Thieves might be neat as well.

Ooh, Agents of Mayhem as well because Saints Row.

I love that there's such variety in the games you've listed. It's often the case that the "big" years are jam-packed with shooters, but there's a bit of something for everyone here.

Steep being shit makes me sad. I have fond memories of 1080 snowboarding so had my eye on it. I still might pick it up if it tanks and they sell it super cheap.

Yooka-Laylee is the game I'm probably most anticipating next year. I miss the proper collect-a-thon platformers with great music and themeing and stuff.
