Apalling by Liverpool. It's been known for months Dempsey wanted to come here, and if we wanted him so badly, the deal should've been made. He's worth 7 million, pay up for it. Borini is the only other viable option at striker, and he's a starting winger for Rodgers. The front three depth is terrible. Adam Morgan is not anywhere near close to playing in the Premier League. You thus have a front 3 of Suarez, Borini, and Sterling, with your bench options Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Adam Morgan, and the winger from the Eredivisie, I think. Am I missing anyone? Just awful planning by Liverpool.

He would have been left in a terrible situation so Spurs have coughed up the money (which if it's £5 million is a bargain).
