Twitter feeds? That's gonna cause a lot of irrational rage just like when the WWE does it!

THQ are probably watching this like 'Hmmmmmmm...'

Sim City next.

"The biggest release in EA's history...Battlefield 3!"

*Waits for applause*

*Small ripple of applause*

Battlefield Premium is coming up. I'd like to see them defend this.

What's to defend? People will pay it so they'll provide it.

That's not too bad. Instead of releasing a new game, they are going to give you premium content and 5 expansion packs for 50 bucks. Sounds like a deal to me.

The alternative is COD where they release a 'new' 60 dollar game, give you no premium features and then charge a bunch of money for map packs.

The only thing I will say about this is that at $50 and getting all the DLC, it's not so bad if you were getting it anyway. Plus you get the extra shit on top and the DLC is what, $10 at least if not $15 so you might even be saving money. Only thing though is that aren't there 2 of those 5 packs out already so that kinda screws you over if you already bought them.
