I was at Grimey's the day after Bonnaroo, his album was #1 there. Had no idea who he was. But it's decent. Once I saw the Tullahoma bit, I wondered if Tristy knew him at all.

Well, after a real thorough listening session to Queen of the Wave by Pepe Deluxé, I will add it to the very top of my list because god damn, that record has just blown me away. Also after a more proper listen to both Locked Down and The Giant, they are going on the list as well. But yeah, everyone should fucking listen to Queen of the Wave; diverse instrumentation, nostalgic passages, makes use of so much from so little, basically just a massive pop opera about Atlantis or some shit. Amazing.

So far, Some Nights by Fun. has definitely been the best album of the year. The only album I can see topping it so far is when The Battle Born comes out, because, God, that looks fucking amazing.
