1. Trades will require my approval as well as posted/PM'd approval from both parties. Yes, I will be a stickler about this.

2. Waiver process will be the same as last year, barring huge outcry.

3. This is the first time I've run a Yahoo league, so bare with me. Ask any questions here or feel free to gripe. We'll figure it out.

4. Trash talk = encouraged. Not having fun = not encouraged. Give hell responsibly.

5. As it currently stands, your roster is as follows:

1 Utility (any position will work, including DH)

4 Bench Spots (used for any position)

3 Utility Pitchers

2 DL Spots (usable only when someone is injured, ala Curtis Granderson )

Remember that Yahoo breaks up most players into one position, meaning you will need a left fielder, center fielder, and right fielder. If half of the owners vote to change the roster setup, it will be done.

6. League officially starts March 31st. If it has not already ended, we'll end the draft and let everyone settle in on March 24th.

7. There will be no "Can't Cut List". I found it inane that I was unable to offload Desmond Jennings last year, who sucked eggs yet had Yahoo basking in his sucky, egg-sucking glow. So all players can be cut, but I can and will stop any free agent shenanigans from happening.

8. Scoring is the same as last year. Batters will be rated by Runs, HR, RBI, stolen bases, AVG, & OBP+Slugging. Pitchers will be rated by Wins, Saves, Strikeouts, ERA, (BB+H)/IP, and K:BB Ratio. If a majority of players vote to add/subtract a stat, we will (but speak up quickly, as we're steamrolling through this draft regardless of stats.)

We will be holding an offline draft. Much like last year, I will update this post with picks. There are two ways you can pick someone:

1. PM a list to moi (you can always PM changes to said list at anytime). This is the preferred method, because then I can scan down your rankings and process the draft much more quickly. (Need help objectifying players? Check out this page with Yahoo's Draft Rankings.)

2. Post a draft pick in this thread. This is a much slower process, but some prefer it. To keep things moving, you will have 12 hours from the time I send you a PM to the time your pick is made. I reserve the right to shorten this amount of time if we're slogging through.

You can trade draft picks, if you so choose. Want to trade your next two picks for a certain player? All I need is both parties' consent either via PM or this post. Note that your team cannot go over the maximum number of players. When you've reached this limit, I'll let you know and you can choose to package remaining picks in a trade or just forfeit them. Remember, you have 12 hours to trade or draft someone.

Indeed. Should tell you something that a highly competitive guy like myself could finish 11th and still say it was insanely fun.

We've gone all the way up to 11 now. Three more and the Draft Order is posted. Last year, Yahoo's league started on the 9th of Feb. Would not be surprised to see it start on the 4th or the 11th.
