OK, as much as it would be cool to see a British man win the country's biggest event of the year, I don't think we'll ever see it happening. As far as my predictions go, for the men, Lleyton Hewitt will win the tournament, and for the women, Maria Sharapova will repeat as champion.

Federer's obviously the favorite. I like Nadal but Caprice Pants and the fact that he's only good in clay courts will probably miss. It'd be nice to see Roddick in the finals but he's had a terrible year so far so I say he'll lose before he gets to the finals.

In the Women's side. Sharapova WILL retain. (Y)

Here's an inside hint.

Put £10 on an Andrew Murray vs Greg Rusedski final.

You know it makes sense.

And it would make my year.

Actually in all seriousness, stick cash on Murray being the last Brit to get knocked out. Henman will go out in the 4th against Grosjean.

Murray will beat Nalbandian and then shock of the tourney against Nadal! Whooooo!

Rusedski hasn't got the worst route to the fourth but he'll probably lose to Gonzalez in the third after a great victory against Johansson in the second...

I hope Clijsters does well. I went to Eastbourne to watch her semi final and she won and I NEARLY caught her wristband thing, someone 3 seats along from me caught it. :(

She could meet Davenport in the 4th round though which could be tricky.

Anyway, Federer and Clijsters to win.

They're the people I will get to see, not half of them anyways, I'm going on the first Thursday and I'm looking forward to it, I especially want to see this Gilles Muller guy from Luxembourg, I've heard good things about him.

As for those who think Henman will lose easily again, please, watch a Henman match, win or lose he always does it the hard way and plays his best - sheesh.

Argentine seventh seed Guillermo Canas and Holland's Sjeng Schalken have pulled out of Wimbledon.

Canas was the seventh seed at the All England Club, while Schalken has reached the last eight at SW19 for the last three years.

Olivier Rochus moves to 33rd seed and takes Canas' place in the draw.

Lucky losers Paul Goldstein and Daniele Bracciali will replace the two players - who have not revealed the reasons for their withdrawal - in the men's field.

The man is a disgrace. He's never reallly had his head in the game. Too preoccupied with cars, women and parties. He thought he was better than he was and this led to all kinds of injuries and drop outs. The only good side of him being incompitant is that it has allowed for me to see some other Australian talent that want to succeed.
