Rickie's had a rough couple days. Well rough couple months, really.

I only put five down on DeChambeau. Almost put five down on Day. Sure glad I didn't do that now.

It's coming down to the nitty gritty, lads. I don't trust Dustin Johnson's putting when the pressure is on.

but Lowry just bogey'd the 15th, so who knows!

Glad DJ finally got that win. Didn't follow the tournament this time around with the Euro's being on, so that took priority for me. I'm kind of glad the USGA have come in for widespread criticism over the handling of the incident yesterday though.

Oooh, a thread I can get involved in  Big golf fan, I backed DJ at the weekend, the USGA really want looking at after their handling of the incident though, it was piss poor decision making.

So pleased for DJ though, he has had some rough times and I can't think of anyone more deserving.

I've got a set of clubs but I never get to play. I'm terrible anyway.

Only way to get better is to use them! Go to a driving range around you. Even if it's just once a week.

Anybody watching? We've had a pretty good weekend so far, with Billy Hurley looking for his first win in 104(?) tournaments. We also have Ernie Els and Vikay Singh kicking around and that kid from Arizona State that's participating as a professional for the first time also in the mix.

No bets for me this week. I have a six hour drive on Sunday, but I think I'll be able to listen to it on the radio.  I'm quite excited. This tournament is probably my second favorite behind the Masters.

Anyone been watching? It's a shame it's turned into a 2 horse race. I fancy Stenson to see this one out now. I still have Finau in the paying places, but he'll need a better round than yesterday to stay there.

Today's early indications point towards a tough course, so nobody is touching Mickelson or Stenson barring a crumble.

Stenson wins it. Deserved. Nobody could touch he or Phil today.

Drink magnate and former golf professional Arnold Palmer has died

Well guys, we lost the legend today. Arnold Palmer, who I believe has been sick for quite a while, passed away tonight at the age of 87.
