Sunderland have accepted a 14m bid for van Aanholt from Palace, and he'll undergo a medical today.

As I understand it, Bournemouth have offered £10m for Asmir Begovic and Chelsea are happy for him to go and get first-team football if they can find an alternative backup keeper to sign instead.

Apparently their tactic so far has to look at first-choice keepers at the likes of Celtic, Newcastle, etc. This doesn't seem too sensible since, even if said keeper were just like "fuck it, I'll get paid more to live in London and make maybe three appearances in the next six months", there's no way the selling club would let them go at this point in the window (if at all).

He can't defend to save his life and doesn't bother to even try and get back when he bombs forwad. Scores the odd goal to paper over the cracks, got an absolutely shit attitude. More concerned about how/if we reinvest over the next few days. He's been the main culprit for most of our goals conceded.

Manchester United midfielder Sean Goss is set to join QPR. The 21-year-old left Exeter for United in 2012 and has impressed for the reserves this season. Goss has attracted admiring glances despite being unable to make a first-team impact and is now set to join QPR for an initial £500,000. The deal could rise with add-ons depending on the midfielder’s success at the side currently 17th in the Championship. Goss will become QPR’s second January arrival after Kazenga LuaLua joined from Brighton on loan for the rest of the season. Lille have rejected a €12m offer from Crystal Palace for central midfielder Ibrahim Amadou. The player confirmed this morning in an interview with L’Équipe that he would remain with Les Dogues until the end of the season and is believed to be in contract extension talks with the club. His current deal expires in 2019.

Darlow would be silly to go to Chelsea at this point in his career, he'd just be filling in the miserable role Begovic was in with even less appearances and less money.

I wouldn't be that bothered if he left, we have about 50 good keepers on the books at the minute.
