EWR June 2019 Update

Recommended Posts

AEW's show is going to be on TNT, not TBS, unless I missed something, I believe TNT is in more homes (bigger risk and audience).

I thought I fixed that if not I'll update it... I'll figure that out soon.

If you want, I can pull up an old 2000/2001 save and see what TNT's Risk/Audience was back then? Might have changed over the years but, I'm sure it wouldn't be that big of a tweak.

Awesome, man. Awesome. Is it updated in the main file? Or is that for the June update?

Cable networks like FX, SyFy, and TNT have been pretty lenient on violence, cursing, and the like for the past few years. On FX and SyFy alone their shows have uncensored F-bombs.

I might adjust later hours a bit more then.

You might want to remove Silver Cain/Silver King, since he passed away in May

I know Bugehagen was Rick Bugez in the past in an update but quickly went back to the Bugehagen name and thus renamed again. Now if he is on NXT as Bugez, I'll actually use that name, but for now I'll leave him as is.

Punishment was getting renamed Priest when I got around to it. Thanks for the rest, they will get renamed.

I know but he previously was renamed that back in December? and then re-renamed when he made his appearance on NXT TV, so I'm a little bit trepidaious until I hear about him being called that.

You...might be wrong?  From their respective Wikipedia pages

My bad. I was going off what someone else had said, which was that TNT was slightly bigger than USA network, which I assumed was bigger than TBS. Guess I should have looked for myself instead of assuming so much.

Would it be possible to add Kento Miyahara into the game? He is the current Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion after all.

Yeah I'm not sure what to do with that. For now with that booster that will be done for tomorrow, TNT is replacing some network and is at old levels.

I haven't checked it already, but is Mox going to be on the NJPW-A roster in the future updates?

Edit: Nevermind, I saw he already was. But also, where is  Celeste Bonin in the game? Under as Kaitlyn?

A lot of changes in this update. Thanks to HPXSpectrum, I have a huge update of Joshi talents. I also have added a number of AEW jobber wrestlers and Mike Tyson. A number of talents were moved to staff namely Davey Richards, Kris Wolf, Larry Dallas, Misaki Ohata and Takashi Iizuka.
I added Shahid Khan as AEW's owner and make Tony a writer. The Nightmare Factory is their training facility. The only trainers I have for it are Ray Lloyd and Carolyn Cullari.
Going forward EWR updates will coincide with major events (at least until MLW and RoH run regularly.) The schedule being:
July: Reflecting events related to TakeOver: In Your House and Fyter Fest
September: Reflecting events related to a possible Takeover, SummerSlam and related to All Out (happens early in September)
December: Reflecting events related to Bound for Glory?, Full Gear?, a possible TakeOver: War Games and Survivor Series)
I have a full and a lite data for this update.
Full: data, all logos, banners and a good portion of the pictures for Staff and workers
Lite: data and pics for new workers
      Copying EWR data save:

So here is the first major update from me for TEW 2020 starting in June, a couple of big changes over the beta version, firstly the venues and locations has been completely overhauled, tidied up and expanded, venues were then copied and then turned into locations, rounding up capacities to the next round number for every 5,000, from 5,000 to 100,000, with the highest capacity representing the highest possible capacity venue for that location. Secondly the match types has been overhauled and expanded and is around doubled in size, after going through what was already there I then started a quick research and expanded the match types, firstly into cinematic matches, where most notable matches (Hardy's Compound, Boneyard & Jungle Island) have a generic variant (Compound, Graveyard & Desert Island), there is also a generic "Cinematic" match as a base you can clone with instructions on how to create your own. There are also a lot more deathmatch variants available, along with some that just add some flavour text for results.
There is still much that needs improving, but there has been 1-2 years tests and things are mostly stable, I've fixed up things that may have caused issues. but from the feedback from that it appears to be realistic. So as usual, if there are any problems or anything that needs changing post them below.
      Enjoy

Why is [Promotion] closed when they are active?
Due to how slow the game runs with more promotions active, I have included active promotions but have them closed, to identify these they have their opening date and closed date the same. To activate the promotion simply remove the closed date. They may also have their titles histories included, if they do you need to go into "Title Lineages" and remove their most recent record (identified with a "= -" or "= - #" before their record name). You can then activate the title (all closed promotions titles are retired) and then set the champion if they are under contract.

Here is the update for April, and will be my final update for TEW2016, due to all the things going on not a lot happened this month and I havent been updating much due to waiting on TEW2020, only worker addition this month is Rob Gronkowski, other than that just updating things that have been posted and doing the title changes for March and WrestleMania.
Since this is my last real world mod for TEW2016, if anyone wishes to continue updating this feel free, all I ask is that you credit me and the the original source of the mod.
I have added a poll to this to ask about the future of my updates on this forum, put simply would you rather see me have one thread that gets updatedor posting a new thread every month, I have been posting monthly as that was what the EWR updates did so I copied that, but it may be simplier to just have one mega thread updated monthly.
      Enjoy

Here is the update for March, bit of a slow month so just the usual updates this time round, not much to shout about. Although saying that I'm going to confirm that I'll be releasing a post WrestleMania April update next month, since TEW2020 has been mentioned to be our around April if it's released in March I'll be getting the April update out and will then be moving over to TEW2020 and then likely taking a month out to work on converting and cleaning it up. So as usual any problems or updates just post them.
      Enjoy
