Kirkland, you might like Lore

Yep. It's awesome.

"The Black Tapes is a weekly podcast from the creators of Pacific Northwest Stories, and is hosted by Alex Reagan. The Black Tapes is a serialized docudrama about one journalist's search for truth, her subject's mysterious past, and the literal and figurative ghosts that haunt them both.

How do you feel about paranormal activity or supernatural? Ghosts? Spirits? Demons?

Do you believe?"

I'm a few minutes into this. It's clearly inspired by Serial, even down to the music and editing.

Another show I've been enjoying is euphomet

Remember Jook who used to post on here? Yes, the Jook?

He has a podcast called Wikishuffle, and truth be told, it's fucking awesome. Excellent rapport between the guests, amazing concept, just really well done. I recommend listening to it.

Wikishuffle is trying to win an award at the moment, so if you've got a moment, could everyone please vote for it? The link is here: http://ukpodcasters.com/directory/podcast/wikishuffle/.

Or don't vote, up to you. But the podcast is pretty great.

Pistol Shrimps Radio is a podcast where Mark McConville and Matt Gourley commentate on  women's recreational league basketball team the Pistol Shrimps. Neither of them know very much about basketball. This podcast should not work but it does:

Chris Pratt's appearance on The Nerdist cements he may be the coolest movie star ever. Though way too much of the episode involved Chris Hardwick talking about how Pratt transformed from his Andy Dwyer body into his Starlord body and Hardwick used that as a stepping stone to talk about how he used to be fat.

I've never had any issue with the acting on the black Tapes. It all sounds fine to me. The only bump was that I knew who the actor for Percy Black was.

On The Hour, maybe? Matt Forde's Political Party? I'm just reading these off a list. >_>

I don't know if I mentioned it but Spontaneanation is Paul F Tompkin's new podcast. It is brilliant. It is improvised from start to finish. It starts with an improv monologue, followed by an interview where the opening question comes from the previous weeks guest and then finishes with a long form improv sketch based on a scene suggested by that weeks guest.

Dave Foley's (Mars Base 3) episode is probably my favorite so far although Michael Sheen's (Ghost Sex Convention) is pretty great too. They're all pretty great tbh.

This week's one with Jim Rash is the new peak.
