Daybreakers * out of ***** Awful, awful execution of a pretty damn good idea. I went in expecting big things from this one considering that the trailor really looked absolutely bad ass, but instead all I got was a bunch of WALKING to start off that really only lent itself to showing the style of clothes people were wearing. The movie dragged and dragged and was far too gorey for no reason. Seriously it felt like I was in the theater for for hours and I wanted to leave after the first twenty minutes. The Lovely Bones ***1/2 out of ***** I didn't get to hear everything because a buddy of mine likes to TALK a lot during movies. It was pretty good, and fucked up at the same time. The Book of Eli **** out of ***** Awesome, awesome fight scenes and the film had a great look. I thought all of the acting was performed rather brilliantly. I'm going to see this one again. Sherlock Holmes **** out of ***** I greatly enjoyed this one, probably one of the most fun films I've watched in a very long time. I also loved the slow motion parts.

Rabing Rabbids is always the games to start off with. Great fun for the whole family.

I REALLY hate that this update has gone the way of 1:30 for two hour shows, and now there are apparently going to be ad break angles made. That's not at all how the game is supposed to work.

Just got finished with my final for Branding and packaging - a custom board game, complete with all of the parts it needs to play. My Game was "Dual Meet Wrestling" - a take on US high school wrestling where the goal is to win a majority of thirteen matches. The "matches" are scored in three periods of dice rolls, where the totals are added up and the player with the higher score wins the match. I won't go into full detail because there's more to it, but here's what it looked like all completed. The only thing not in the picture are the scoring sheets and rules papers I didn't photograph.

My girlfriend is having a blast with Sims 2 Castaway right now. You can have up to five or six people wreck with you and you need to find them afterwards on the island.

The reviews for Cooking Mama 3: Chop and Shop are good, and my girlfriend loves it.

My girlfriend and I just picked up a Wii last night because Walmart had a deal where if you bought one for $199 you got a $50 gift card (which my girlfriend used to buy two games. One Pet Vet something or other and Sims 2 Castaway) I have to say I love it, having owned a 360 for the past few years I've always felt bad when I was spending so much time on shooters and shit that she just couldn't get into. Then we get this console and with all of the party and multi player games I think we're going to have a blast with it. If XBox hit the party game scene a little better it wouldn't hurt them at all. I can see why Nintendo has made a killing off the Wii, chicks and kids love those types of games. I can't wait until payday to buy up some points and start downloading some of the older games. Super Mario Bros. 3 is going to be a blast to pick up again. The one thing I will say is that the controller prices are ridiculous. I stopped at the local gamestop and picked up and extra Wii Remote, MotionPlus, Nunchuck, and classic controller and busted $120. It will be a while before I'm able to pick up enough equipment to have a set of four, that's for sure. Oh, and Raving Rabbids TV Party is the freaking shit. Great fun.

The 360 chatpad does work as I've used mine without any problems. However the USB keyboard is the way to go if the option becomes available.

RIDE is holding their annual snowboard design competition this year, and lucky for me my instructor is having us send in submissions. After an all-nighter I think I've come up with some pretty decent stuff - but what do you guys think? These are lower resolution .jpegs as I just quickly fucked around with them in photoshop after completing the designs in illustrator.

Has anyone downloaded any decent create a stories for 360? Zero's is about the only high quality one I've found so far.

Too me the graphics looked a bit blocky - N64 style. The animations for the submissions and stuff didn't seem to flow as smooth as they should either.
