  1. Agreed on the Sun part, she was pretty awesome when face to face with Witmore. Still so many questions. I cannot believe Locke is possibly gone, I know he'll still be one of the main focuses in Season Five, but to kill him? He must have done something big for the island to get rid of him. Christian appearing in front of Michael before the explosion was pretty good as well. I may have missed something huge lol but why are the papers referring to John as Jeremy Bentham? I've just seen the alternative endings also, they had Sawyer and Desmond in the coffin filmed in case anybody leaked the Locke ending.
  2. Manslaughter United Petr Cech Giourkas Seitaridis Patrice Evra Carles Puyol Aleksei Berezutski Luka Modric Michael Ballack Kim Kallstrom Luca Toni Klaas Jan Huntelaar Cristiano Ronaldo
  3. In a previous episode (in the last 2 or 3 I believe) didn't Kate say she was doing something for Sawyer, causing Jack to get upset? So I'm guessing he made it off the island. The coffin, I'm gonna go with Locke or Michael, there was a 'J' visible on the piece off paper but with that theory it brings Juliet off the top of my head in to the equation, the only thing that makes me doubt that theory is 'artley' visible. It could be Michael as the funeral home was in an African-American part of town. I've said from the beginning that Jacob is one of two people, Ben or Jack. We haven't heard Jack's full name, could be Jacob? Son of Christ? (Dad is called Christian) A possible hint that Jack is either messianic or the messiah. Jack's mother is called Margo, meaning pearl, Pearl Station, I think we'll head back there sooner rather then later. The numbers and the monster are the two major things that bug me, for the simple fact they cannot be solved yet. I'm aware the ten things in the list TGC posted are all unanswerable but damn those numbers and monster.
  4. Emile Mpenza will be an Ipswich player sometime next week, his agent has said the offer from Ipswich is a very good one and he's interested in the move, despite interest from Bolton and Reading. I'm quite happy about that, pretty good signing if it turns out to be true, his agent has been in Town but the player hasn't. I really think he could be rather successful in the Championship, fingers crossed he signs. Ipswich and Coventry have also been linked with Dean Leacock. Spanish papers are suggesting Ronaldo is on the verge of handing in a transfer request, this story seems to change directions every day, he stays, now he goes, tomorrow he'll more then likely sign a new contract. Mourinho will raid Chelsea for Lampard, Drogba and Carvalho when announced as Inter boss later this week. Samir Nasri signs for Arsenal for 12.5 mill. Aston Villa will attempt an 8 mill bid for Joe Hart. Hull make signing of Craig Fagan permenant, 750k.
  5. We're in a good position money wise, not that good, but still, Marcus Evans is in a far better position then most in the Championship, Ipswich are easily one of the better off clubs in the league now, maybe only behind the three relegated clubs and Q.P.R. As for Guiza, I just posted what I read, I'm not saying it's true, I hadn't even heard of the guy, thought I'd throw it in here though. 20mill maybe steep but who's not saying Arsenal will make a bid for him?
  6. Took me ages actually deciding on a team, I'm still not 100% but ... 5 on Portugal
  7. David Healy is being linked with Hull, apparently Hull and Ipswich are the two clubs after him. Town have also been linked with Carlos Bocanegra, released by Fulham on Sunday, but with PSV, Osasuna and Coventry all in the hunt, then I doubt a move to Ipswich will be on the cards. and, Jermanie Beckford, I personally hope this is true. I think he'd be a good addition to any Championship Club and with only really two out and out Strikers (Counago and Lee) he could fit in nicely, because he's totally different to the both of them, I see him more like Danny Haynes, but he's been playing down the left/right wing, same as Jon Walters. Norwich and Q.P.R are also interested but we're in the same posistion as Q.P.R money wise, I'd say we're a bigger club so hopefully we'll land him. Believed to be around 900k. Didier Deschamps says it is between him and three others to land the Chelsea job but other papers report Rijkaard is the man and the wheels are in motion to bring Eto'o and Ibrahimovic for a combined fee of 50mill to Stamford Bridge when he arrives. Real prepared to bid 150mill for Ronaldo, 40mill in cash with Robinho, Ramos and Diarra heading the other way. (that's ridiculous in my opinion) Arsenal have made a 20mill bid for Real Mallorca striker, Dani Guiza. Wenger has also stated that Samir Nasri will be at The Emirates within the next week. Ben Foster, Steve Sidwell and Richard Dunne are transfer targets for Martin O'Neill
  8. It would be pretty pointless but what about Sylar taking the appearance of Peter. We know series 3 is called 'Villains' would make sense. Although i'm kinda expecting a few twists this season, so it may well be Peter. "In every hero there could be a villain."
  9. The first season was more then likely the best piece of programming I've watched in a long time and being as I'm in the U.K and i'm inpatient where season two is concerned, yeah I've seen it all already lol, it's still a good watch but in comparison with season one, it's not as nearly as hard hitting, gripping in other ways but I thought it generally had a bit of a different feel about it. Season 3 I cannot wait for, October actually isn't that far away, I was expecting early next year.
  10. It's the final i predicted and overall, it's the two teams who deserve something to show from good seasons. My money is on Hull, they seemed pretty decent down Portman Road the other week, despite losing, they destroyed Watford. So yeah, i'll be placing a wager on it at the bookies tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to the final, from a neutral perspective i think it will be a good way to finish easily the best Championship season for along time, if not ever. Good luck to all the Bristol/Hull fans that post on here.
  11. Rangers fans are going nuts lol, had me and my brother in stitches, anyone else see it in the news? A Russian has been stabbed, riot police. All over a big screen not working.
  12. Sven is favorite for the Mexico job, i think that whole situation is disgusting, how he's been treated is disgusting, Sven should be at City next year, but he won't be. He didn't actually do a lot wrong, if anything wrong? Man City had a very good first half of the season, the second half wasn't good but he's still improved them drastically i think. A Japanese club is after Michael Owen..... Spurs and Newcastle chase Richard Dunne, Newcastle could do with him more then Spurs, Newcastle can do with changing their whole first team, so yeah. Bolton releasing 12 players, that's steep, hope it comes back to bite them in the ass. Stellios and Helguson amound the unlucky ones. West Ham make a 6 million pound bid for Nicky Shorey. Crystal Palace teenager John Bostock, currently doing his GCSEs was linked with Barce and Man U but is on the verge of joining Spurs.

The best Friends episode has to be the 'Ohnogi' episode, i've seen it so many times now but it stills get everytime, "ahhh, salmon skin roll." When Ross tries to get the self-defence teacher to teach him how to take down Pheobe and Rachael and the ending, when he goes for the wrong two women, classic. I may have to find it and watch it now The episode where Pheobe finds the thumb in her soda, another great episode. I wanted them to do the extra episodes, did anyone find out which one of them turned the deal down?
  16. Ipswich had someone at the Levante/Valencia match, Riga the main target apparently. Steve Foley (Ipswich Coach that went) has commented on the financial state of certain clubs in La Liga, Levante being one of them and how Ipswich could use that in the summer, raid all the lower La Liga players? Basically what he is saying. I'd seriously like to know how many players would consider a move to Championship football next year over La Liga football? Riga was also linked in January. Jason De Vos is acting as a scout for Ipswich when he begins his new role as a broadcaster in North America. Not officially, that's just how much he loves the club, fair play to him i say. Could come in handy, know it's not a transfer rumor but, it could turn in to one when JDV spots the Canadian Ronaldo Cech is in contract talks, with Chelsea. His deal runs out next year, that's good, very pleased about that. Arsenal and Spurs are now the two front runners for the signing of Jean Makoun (a guy i always buy on FM, let me tell you, he's hit or miss, lol, cause we all know FM is real of course) Liverpool chase Daniel Alves, i heard Chelsea were also linked but after the signing of Bosingwa, i doubt that's true. Kevin Foley joining Sunderland from Wolves, 2.5 mill, Rep. Ire right back so, yeah i'd say i believe that lol, the Hunt for Steven has also begun for Roy Keane, you liked that didn't ya That is basically all i can remember from the papers i read, sure there's more i've missed.
  17. That Fábio Rochemback freekick was something special. Better then the Ronaldo one
  18. The Wire, it's an awesome show, although i kinda went off it after season four i think it was, whenever they killed off Stringer, but it's still a very good series, nobody i knows watches it. Lost, every week it confuses me but every week it makes me love it that bit extra. Have the first three seasons on DVD boxset. I believe the UK are two weeks behind the US, maybe a week, i'm unsure, but i watch it online because i'm inpatient The Shield, i know it's kinda old but i've only just came across it, i can't really comment in detail but i've never even heard of it up until about two weeks ago when i clicked on it by mistake.
  19. What happened to the TV event of the year? The Big O! Don't get me wrong, it was watchable but it just didn't have the same feel about it, the more updated look so to speak just doesn't work, for me anyway. Duel was pretty crappy, i actually think the water adds something more about it, that was the only good thing. That ball game, forget the name was, meh. The women just chucking them ruined it, defeated the object of the game really. Hit and Run, meh, the Scottish girl totally got whipped out though, that was a classic Gladiator moment already lol. Pyramid looked seriously, hard. That was ok, the best event of the show. The Eliminator, i don't know, i felt let down but it had it's moments, i just didn't rate it as much as the original. The opening part looked pretty difficult, well climbing the net outta the water anyway, everyone seemed to struggle. Overall, just about watchable, i'm sure i'll end up watching the whole series anyway.
  20. You gotta love Steve Bennett ain't ya? Completely bottled it, no penalty, no red card, but Man U get one, shock horror, surprise surprise. If it would have been Bramble who handballed it, penalty, no doubt. That's the reason i hate Man U i don't care what anyone says. That ginger little wanker is a jammy bastard as well, how wasn't he sent off? Ridiculous! It could have made all the difference.
  21. Advantage Bristol City, good. Palace have been the worst team i've seen, home and away, this season. I think Hull and Bristol City deserve to make it to the final because let's be honest, not amany would have said they'd even finish in the top half. Whoever goes up will be whipping boys anyway. I generally believe that West Brom have a genuine chance of staying up next year, the other two, Stoke and whoever have no chance what so ever. This isn't through me being bitter about Ipswich but i've seen Town beat Bristol City 6-1 this year, Hull 1-0, draw both times with Stoke, 4 points off West Brom, beat Palace home and away. The league is extremely average and as i've said before if Ipswich went up it would be the same for them, straight back down, that's why i'm pretty happy with where we finished, considering it was 15th the year before. Congrats to Bristol City again, WE HATE WARNOCK WE HATE WARNOCK
  22. Sammy Lee to Liverpool as new assistant manager next season, what do Liverpool fans think about that? Alex Miller is off to Japan apparently. Liverpool also reject a 25 million pound bid for Gerrard from Inter Milan? Interesting. Like to know if that's true. Liverpool would never sell him, till must have been a tempting offer? David Bentley to Spurs? 15 mill. I wouldn't personally like to see that, unless Lennon moves. Arguably the two that will be battling out for an England spot down the right along with Wright-Phillips? I can see Bentley leaving, just not joining Spurs. Villa, Everton and Boro all chase Steve Sidwell. 2 million valuation, i'd snap Sidwell up for 2 million, like to see him join Villa out of the three clubs apparently interested. Zidane, Ince and Dowie all linked with QPR job. Zinedine f'n Zidane, they've said it's not true but how the hell did he get involved in these rumors. God, give him the job, Zidane at Portman Road next year, highlight more then likely.
  23. It's alright, it's the one i voted for so can't complain, can't find the whole kit at the minute, will edit later. ALAN LEE .. GOAL .. ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOUR SOOOOOUL! YOU'VE GOT THE POWER TO KNOW .. YOUR INDESTRUCTIBLE .. ALWAYS BELIEVE IN .. ALAN LEE .. GOAL!
  24. Not if Liverpool sign Villa, he'll have to go with Torres and Villa up-front. You have to love all these rumors, 75-80% of them all turn out to be shit anyway. Darren Bent on loan for next season, apparently, for Ipswich that is, really wouldn't surprise me as much as it will surprise most of all of you if it actually happened. Titus Bramble is also being linked, 1 million. Bramble is hit and miss but at Championship level, i think he'd be a hit. He was awesome for us before, i remember him tearing Sunderland apart at Portman Road, at center back, which is something in it's self, i remember him totally marking Henry out of the game when Ipswich drew 1-1 with Arsenal, oh that season was marvelous to watch lol. I know yes, people don't rate him, but the potential is certainly in him, he just lacks consistency. I wouldn't name my English Bull Terrier after him for nothing :/ Ipswich have good transfer money for next year, if you carry the 4 mill we apparently had left from January, we've been told to expect another 10-15 if Magilton feels it necessary. De Vos retired, Wilnis and Legwinski got released through age more then anything, Legwinski was a class player, shame he didn't really feature this year after getting player of the year for the club the season before, i sense something went on behind the scenes. Bent, Bramble, Gareth McAuley (Leicester, center back, Northern Irish, tried to sign him in January, he'll be here next year i imagine), Ben Herd (never heard of him, this came about today, Shrewsbury right back, 22, who knows? if you've seen the guy play, drop me a PM and tell me what you think) David Healy (Northern Irish, tried to get him in January aswell, very good friends with Magilton, possibility?), Freddy Eastwood (transfer listed by Wolves, i imagine most clubs in the championship have been linked), Michael McIndoe (it's been said that the midfield isn't a place we're looking to strengthen, three midfielders signed in January, already a lot of depth in there so doubt this is true) Quite a few rumors already circulating down in Ipswich.
