Finidi had a total of two good games I think, he tore Sunderland and Derby apart at Portman Road. Amir Karic played at a World Cup and European Championship but only played twice in the League Cup in three years. Adrian Paz, first ever Uruguayan to play in the Premier League, scored 1 in 18, not the best for a striker.

After not really having a lot to do at the moment, because of work being shit As it is the European Championships and all, I wondered how many would be interested in signing up for a Euro 2008 Network game, so I'll need 16 people, or I can live with less, I'd like at least 8. Rules would be simple, I'd sim through until about a week until Nations have to name their squads, unless anybody had any suggestions for a suitable starting position. Simple rules, it would be first come first serve, realistically I doubt it would take that long to actually complete, obviously they'd be a bit of waiting round in between games but I think it could be kinda good. No need for reservations on a Nation yet as I was just wanted to see if anyone would be up for doing this.

Shola Ameobi is set to sign for Ipswich. Apparently, Ipswich have had a 3.5mill bid accepted and it's now all down to personal terms etc. Personally, I don't think he'd be a bad signing but I've always found him hit or miss, but he's never exactly had regular first team football, maybe that's all he needs, at Championship level he's definitely good enough, despite not scoring for Stoke last year in three starts, but if we are going for promotion,I think he's the kind of player we need. Nikolce Noveski, one of Velice Sumolikoski's friends is apparently being watched by Ipswich, he plays in the second tier of German football and I find it funny because he's someone I signed in my Ipswich FM08 game first year of promotion. Pim Balkestein may beat Ameobi in being Ipswich's first signing this summer. The Heerenveen center back was on trial here for a month at the end of last season, so won't be a big shock, I haven't seen him play so can't really comment on it, I doubt he's going to be an instant starter but he's apparently a good prospect. Luuk Balkestein, his Father, who was capped by Holland, maybe appointed Cheif International Scout by Ipswich also. Cardiff confirmed that they have turned down a seven figure bid by Town for center back, Roger Johnson. On a different note, the Luke McCormick incident apparently happened when he was travelling back from Ipswich midfielder, David Norris' wedding, random I know but, oh well.

Lescott isn't in the squad is he? I rate Carrick but he's defensive and I'd pick Barry or Hargreaves over him to play that role every time, he doesn't offer anything more then those two can, my opinion of Carrick improved greatly after this season, I thought he was brilliant when ever I saw him play anyway, but same said for Barry and Hargreaves, I'd say arguably Carrick is the weakest of the three. Tom Huddlestone has been picked because I think he can offer something different to that holding role, he is definitely more of a presence just through size then any of the other three, he is good enough on the ball, I have no complaints with him maybe getting a shot at all. And I agree with Ace, this could get me to sleep nicely.

I had to give it a second watch, yesterday when I watched it I was with a few friends drinking and both of them don't follow Lost, so they wouldn't shut up asking questions, questions we all still don't know the answers to Anyway, some other thoughts/questions from the best finale so far from Lost? Miles asks Charlotte about wanting to leave when shes been wanting to come back for so long, or something along those lines? So Charlotte has been on The Island before? With her later meeting with Daniel she then said, would it make sense if she was looking for where she was born? So that means she was possibly born on The Island and has left? It appears she may have quite a big role to play in Season 5. The Vault, this could be the way that Ben transports himself from Island to the 'real' world? I'm thinking this could be a possibility but the video was brilliant, I think we still may possibly see the end of the video, as Locke stopped it and tried to rewind before it was finished and there was clearly something big coming, the reality is what? Before Sawyer jumped he whispered something to Kate at first I thought it was just the general 'i love you etc' but I missed the 'just do it Freckles' that has to be what he asked Kate to do? So Ben turns this wheel, The Island goes BOOM disappears in front of everyone in the helicopter but where he went to di it, it was freezing, Polar Bear habitat? Nobody else I know that watches didn't really seem to notice that. Claire appearing in Kate's nightmare was pretty freaky, I'd have to say that along with Hurley playing chess with Mr. Echo, best part of the episode. In that moment though did Kate realize she had to go back, without Aaron? Penny saves the day. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I didn't expect her. It was good to see Desmond get his girl back after so long but I doubt it will be over for him, and now her. With her Father apparently the main man looking for The Island do you really he think he'll not try and get information from Desmond, I'm not 100% but he wasn't even keen on Desmond in the first place was he? I will miss the 'brother' if it is all over for him, he deserves to have a happy ending for what he's been through, maybe more then the survivors? But that's just my opinion. But with his 'I'll never leave you again' line sealed with a kiss of death? I think The Island will get him back, one way or another. Jack and Ben meet in the funeral parlor and it's already clear that 'Jeremy' has been in contact will all of them prior to his death, Jack admits speaking to him a month ago, Walt also said to Hurley that he'd been to see him as well. Jack knew Ben was off The Island because Jeremy/John had told him. Jacob at first was happy with the choice of Locke to run The Island but now we know of the bad things that happened since The Oceanic Six left. Ben has ideas to get them back, so basically, he knows what he's doing? I'm thinking Ben actually was always in-charge and he knew exactly what he was doing with Locke, with everybody. Sayid has Hurley, Jack knows he has to go back, Kate has realized she needs to go back and Locke who is now apparently dead has to go back with them. Best bit of television I've seen in a bit. Season 5 needs to hurry up already.
