Oddly enough, there nearly was a spin-off already. It was going to focus on Lucas, with an updated "Rockford Files" feel. I forget why it didn't happen.

I thought this at first too. However, I've since come to see her as a terrific shot in the arm for the series. She's presently the perfect foil for House. My only complaint is a highly unrealistic one: I want ALL the team members back. Give me one episode where fuckin' everybody gets called in to help on a supercase. Even Kutner.

I didn't until this past year, myself. When your first few in-depth MST3K experiences are episodes like Space Mutiny or Mitchell, it's tough to delve into those first few seasons. Obviously, it can pay off now and then.
