  2. Bit early for Ian Rush, isn't it? Is it Toshack?
  3. Shock swoop for Bernard on the horizon.
  4. Correct, Myke. Another player with great hair.
  5. Never thought having a United-mad dad would work in my favour . 1989–1990 Maidstone United 42 (0) 1990–1995 Wimbledon 180 (10) 1995–2002 Newcastle United 164 (4) 2002–2003 Derby County 54 (0) 2003–2004 Queens Park Rangers 3 (0) 2004 Wimbledon 5 (0) 2004–2005 Dagenham & Redbridge 2 (0) First player I thought of, wouldn't say particularly obscure.
  6. Is it Dennis Viollet? Only United player I can think of from that era who had a lot to do with football in America.
  7. Any chance of updating the thread with what all the newgens are up to?
  8. Only just got a 3DS and as much as I'm loving Fire Emblem, I'm thinking about getting Animal Crossing: New Leaf as well because it sounds like it ticks all my boxes. But I've never played of the games before, just wondering if I'm missing anything by starting with New Leaf?
  9. Defintely not worth the punt on 13 year old wonderkids. For every Messi, there are plenty of Freddy Adu's.
  10. I'm assuming they're all the same price on Steam? And no sign of WMMA4?
  11. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
  12. Wish Jo Pavey actually had a shot at winning because her winning European gold is one of my favourite sports stories of the year but I think it'll go to Hamilton.
  13. The comments section on Sherdog about War Machine's attempted suicide is a scary place. I know that can said for many of the comments sections on there but dayum.
  14. How often do you get new Diva cards? I've just started and I've got like three Tamina's and one Natalya so far, both common out of about a hundred cards. As much as I love my Level 10 Nattie, she's my weak link by a long way.
  15. Ewan McGregor. Even though I love me some Big Fish and Moulin Rouge, I still think he's a smarmy prick.
  16. When does the Mass Effect Trilogy release? Mass Effect Trilogy releases on November 6th 2012 for Xbox 360 and PC, and later in the year for PlayStation 3. From the site you linked to, Matzat . Announced just after I cave in and buy Mass Effect 3 too, the barstewards.
  17. This is a thing that should happen!
  18. Would have thought they would have been satisfied by this (spoilered just in case):

    GANGNAM STYLE!

My favourite bit of the video is him screaming at the woman's bum for no reason at 1:38. Always makes me laugh. Also, elevator dude. Such an addictive song though, have been humming or singing bits of it to myself all week.
  20. Only got this recently and have been playing the hell out of it, very glad to jump into a Mass Effect game again. I've been having a bit of a problem with the Citadel though, don't know if anyone else has encountered this: Also, I've just about managed to stop shitting my pants every time the Reapers appear while scanning a system. The noise is terrifying! EDIT: Also, Jack with a weird ponytail thing? Hot .
  21. As much as I'm not a fan of Townsend, he said Welbeck should have gone down after the defender tackled him instead of staying on his feet, he didn't condone diving. One is smartly (albeit cynically) drawing contact from a defender to win a penalty, the other is being a cheating twat. Not a bad result in all. Much more impressed by England attacking-wise in the second half; they were a bit toothless in the first half besides from Defoe's rocket. Felt sorry for Cleverley (probably due to club bias) but, as Starvinho said, that first miss was shocking. Welbeck was lively when he came on and Milner's mazy run at the end was the best I've seen from an England winger in a bloody age. Just pissed of at the amount of misplaced simple passes, especially when the likes of Gerrard can cross like he did for Defoe's chance in the first half. Gerrard's bad pass basically led to his dismissal and Joleon's (who has been worryingly gash in both games, IMO) pass-to-arse was just woeful. EDIT: Could watch the Ukraine goal all day, beautiful strike.
  22. Where'd you see the Aldo announcement, Eddie? Can't see anything on the official site... Srsly though, the amount of injuries this year has been unbelievable, Joe Silva must be dreading every time the phone rings.
