  1. Watched V/H/S today. It didn't scare me like I thought it would, but it was pretty interesting. Thought the webcam story was easily the weakest, and the only one I didn't really care about. The best was Ti West's Honeymoon story. That dude definitely knows how to do horror. Oh and I don't usually mind the shaky cam technique in movies, but it bothered me here. Gave me a headache actually. I didn't hate it or anything but it was kind of disorienting.

    Podcasts

I was wondering what podcasts people were listening to. They've have really taken over my listening habits. For years I used to listen to music pretty much all day long, but now it's 80% podcasts. Here's a list of my favorites: - Doug Loves Movies - Comedy Bang Bang - Harmontown - Todd Glass Show - How Did This Get Made? - Who Charted - WTF With Marc Maron - You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes - Nerdist - Get Up On This with Jensen Karp - Comedy Film Nerds I have a bunch more in my iTunes but these are the ones I listen to the most. A lot of times it depends on the guests for me to listen.

  4. As far as technology ignorance in TV shows go, this will forever be my favorite example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFfJ4ZC1AtA
  5. What an awful song to pick to showcase Lupe. That album was a travesty.
  6. Totally forgot about Black Thought when I made my list. I always talk about how underrated he is, then I underrate him myself

  10. I had one of these moments when I watched Dan in Real Life recently and noticed that the cop that pulls Steve Carell over is Will Schuester from Glee.

  16. Does anyone else think it's hilarious that the promos are calling Barry/Cro Cop "the fight everyone's been asking for"?
  17. I'm not sure he'd be succesfull in the UFC with the unified rules and the cage. It's a huge difference from fighting in PRIDE.
  18. How far does everyone usually go? I'm in March 2004 in the 2nd game I've done so far. The loading times are still pretty good, so that's a plus. Nothing really crazy has happened (beside Dan Bobish beating Randy Couture in Couture's last fight )
  19. I knew enough about the main card and Ribeiro/Beerbohm to pick those. Usually for the Strikeforce undercards, I look at their past fights on Sherdog and come up with a guess of what could happen, but the last time I did that I lost so this time I just completely guessed
  20. I can't wait for the Boston card. Penn/Edgar, Couture/Toney, Marquadt/Palhares, KenFlo/Maynard, Davis/Diaz, plus a Lauzon fight? I'm sold. Going to buy my tickets immediately when they go on sale.
  21. I heard that Ricco Rodriguez is walking around at around 218, and is negotiating with the UFC to fight at 205. That's great to hear considering he was close to if not over 300 pounds just 2 years ago.
  22. Yawn. Sakuraba fights just don't interest me anymore.
  23. I think he posted that right before the fight started.
