  1. I completely forgot about David Anders! He's brilliant, I've never seen Alias, but I stopped watching Heroes after they killed off Adam Monroe. I also think that Wendell Pierce (Bunk Moreland off The Wire) could be great given a well written sitcom. He and Clarke Peters (Lester Freamon) are starring in a show set in post-Katrina New Orleans created by David Simon (creator of The Wire). I think it's starting this summer on HBO. It's not a sitcom, but at least it's something.
  2. Michael K Williams (Omar) needs to be on TV more often. I heard he was starring in a pilot directed by Scorsese, but I have no idea if it got picked up. It would be nice to see Tristan Wilds star in something I'd watch (not 90210). Beside those, I want to see Tim Curry in a sitcom. He's been out of the limelight for far too long.
  3. Perhaps you should ask this man for help:
  4. I will not live in a world where Fergie is nominated for an Oscar.
  5. I am also in for hopefully a better showing this time.
  6. Don't be so quick to an assumption on that one. Dan Henderson controlled Anderson Silva for the first round of their fight with his excellent wrestling, but didn't do much with it. Sonnen is more explosive than Hendo and as evidence by his recent fights, his ground and pound is fast and furious. If he can get past the hands and knees of Silva, I think Sonnen has as good of a chance, if not better, than anyone else at 185 in the world. I was with you 100% up until there. Honestly, Filho - when on - could beat Silva. Anderson has said this himself as well, claiming he believes Paulo is the best 185'er in the world. Oddly enough, Chael is the only person to ever defeat Filho. Although that series truly needs a rubber fight to obtain stance on the better fighter. Wasn't the Chael win when Filho was messed up in the head though? I seem to remember him crying/depressed during that fight. Yeah and Filho came in overweight too. Not even close to 185 IIRC.
  7. Beside finding out that Paulo Thiago is a bad ass, that card was one of the worst I can remember.
  8. Herschel Walker is the most ripped 47 year old I've ever seen.
  9. WHAT? That was totally unexpected. Crazy finish, and Lawler got his leg jacked up before that shot. Also, Manhoef needs to learn to keep his hands up. He was leaving himself completely open, basically asking for it.
  10. I know, right when it got to the ground I knew it wasn't getting back up. But the stoppage was still early.
  11. I am still in disbelief that Herschel Walker is actually fighting for a popular MMA promotion. This fight is really such a joke. BTW, my predictions for tonight: Main Card Welterweight Championship bout: Nick Diaz vs. Marius Žaromskis (Diaz is one of my favorite fighters in the division. I don't think Zaromskis is gonna catch a lucky head kick KO this time. Diaz by Sub.) Women's Lightweight Championship bout: Cristiane Santos vs. Marloes Coenen (Women's MMA bores me, but Cyborg is a beast. Cyborg by KO.) Middleweight bout: Melvin Manhoef vs. Robbie Lawler (Manhoef by fucking death. This is the fight I'm looking forward to the most, and chances are it won't last past round 1. Manhoef by 1st round KO.) Heavyweight bout: Herschel Walker vs. Greg Nagy (No one wins in this joke fight. Hopefully Nagy wins though so we don't have to hear about a 47 year old MMA newcomer.) Heavyweight bout: Bobby Lashley vs. Wes Sims (Should be an impressive showing by Lashley. 1st round TKO by Lashley.) Undercard Welterweight bout: Jay Hieron vs. Joe Riggs (The battle of two fighters who have been disrespected by Strikeforce. Both were promised title shots, now they find themselves fighting in a fight that's exclusively on PPV. Hieron by UD.)

  17. Artists: 1. Jay-Z (786)- I went on a huge Jay-Z kick this year for some reason. Part of it was American Gangster being released at the end of 2007, and also because I saw him in concert in October, which as you'll notice boosts my play count. 2. Kanye West (709)- Saw him in concert in May so that has something to do with the high play count. Also 808's was released this year. 3. Lupe Fiasco (689)- Saw him in concert twice this year and The Cool was released at the end of 2007. 4. Girl Talk (576)- Feed The Animals came out this year, and I saw him in concert 3 times 5. Wale (573)- Just discovered him this past year and have become a huge fan. 6. Lil Wayne (548)- The Carter 3 was obviously released this year and that really opened my eyes to Lil Wayne. 7. Clipse (480)- This is kind of just a random kick that I had earlier this year. A few of my friends discovered how good they were and it basically rubbed off on me. 8. Weezer (376)- The Red Album was released this year, but I doubt that was the main reason why their play count is so high. 9. T.I. (359)- Paper Trail was released this year and is pretty much the main reason why he had so many plays. 10. Goldfinger (334)- Saw them in concert this year and realized how fucking awesome they were.
  18. Lil' Wayne- 201 songs Lupe Fiasco- 186 songs (some are repeats on mixtapes though) Jay-Z- 169 songs (more if you count the Linkin Park mash up, the Weezer mash up, the Coldplay mash up, and the Beatles mash up) Kanye West- 149 songs Wu-Tang Clan- 137 songs Foo Fighters- 130 songs Reel Big Fish- 122 songs Young Jeezy- 119 songs Wale- 118 songs Ghostface Killah- 108 songs Jimi Hendrix- 108 songs The Arrogant Sons of Bitches- 104 songs Red Hot Chilli Peppers- 103 songs Nas- 101 songs
  19. Yeah I'm also going for the 3rd time. It might be my last time seeing them in a while too unless they completely blow me away. It's fun seeing them live, but it was basically the same setlist both times I saw them, and the only ones that really had much energy were Meth and Cappadonna.

    Incoming 2009

Gonna see Wu-Tang in Providence on Jan 2nd, then Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto in Worcester on Jan 24th. Might see Lil' Wayne on the 19th too, depending on if anyone wants to go. I might go see The Roots in January too since it's apparently the last time they're touring in a while. That's all I have lined up up as of now.
  21. Yeah but they're never going to make a CRS album Another super group you guys are forgetting is the one Common and Q-Tip are supposedly forming...
