  1. Four minutes wasted for that stupid VAR review.
  2. Can't use fatigue as the excuse here, we were 1-0 up fortunately but had no control over the game whatsoever. Just really naive tactically, and poor squad selection given the bench. God knows what the Hall contract situation is since we're suddenly giving him minutes, he'd have been useful to bed in two months ago. We lack any plan B, if Bruno isn't controlling play he's a headless chicken, and that doesn't help the 17 year old next to him. Almiron being the only right winger in the world to not even own a right foot never mind one he can kick with isn't ideal either. Forest by far the better side, and our away form has finally infected the home.
  3. Bournemouth 2 vs. 1 Fulham (Tue 3pm, Prime) Sheff Utd 0 vs. 0 Luton (Tue 3pm, Prime) Man Utd 1 vs. 2 Aston Villa (Tue 8pm, Prime) Chelsea 2 vs. 1 Crystal Palace* (Wed 7.30pm) Brentford 2 vs. 1 Wolves (Wed 7.30pm, Prime) Everton 0 vs. 3 Man City (Wed 8.15pm, Prime)
  4. West Ham 2 vs. 1 Man Utd (Sat 12.30pm, TNT) Fulham 2 vs. 0 Burnley (Sat 3pm) Nottm Forest 2 vs. 1 Bournemouth (Sat 3pm) Tottenham 2 vs. 0 Everton (Sat 3pm) Liverpool 1 vs. 1 Arsenal (Sat 5.30pm, Sky)
  5. Unless anyones seen otherwise though the VAR protocols are so woolly that it isn't actually clear that phases of play are irrelevant, and the length of time they will go back to check a goal has always been ambiguous to a fault. I think it is a foul and if the ref sees it he'd have given it, but that goal comes from Baldock fucking up rather than the foul on the keeper, he's a very lucky boy.
  6. Did Sheff Utd just score from a Villa free kick? VARs gone mental today.
  7. I still think it has no chance, the backlash in this country will prevent any PL clubs joining. I don't really understand the maths either, the "Star" league (Mario Kart) is essentially the CL last 16 clubs, playing fewer games overall than the 32 CL clubs would have, so while they're cutting out a few "minnows" like AC Milan or Man Utd how do they make more money with fewer games?
  8. Didn't he only play a handful at Spurs too? Found it really strange he came back to the PL.
  9. Transfer window buzzing on the Extreme Warfare Battleground forum! Fans strategizing, fantasy booking reaching peak levels. Drama, rumors, and passionate debates—just another day in this virtual wrestling haven. Romano-esque updates keeping the community on the edge of their seats. The forum, where dreams collide and storylines unfold. #EWBForumFrenzy #DeadlineDayDrama
  10. Referee trying to work out if penalties can be taken at the Chelsea end with the pathetic stewarding... Oof. Bad few weeks for Trippier.
  11. They'd be better off cutting most of the post Endgame end credits scenes really, they used to reasonably focused (schwarma aside) and teases for things a year later, these days we're lucky if we ever get a payoff. They've inexplicably become more important (character debuts aplenty) but less organised.
  12. Having not seen Loki 2 or The Marvels is there scope to just pivot away from Kang altogether and just bring back the High Evolutionary instead? He was brilliant in Guardians and is hardly damaged by dying in that one given Ant Man took out Kang.
  13. Watched Dungeons and Dragons completely on a whim because we didn't have the time for Indy. Really enjoyable daft fantasy film, more please.
  14. I really like it but that little bag keeps falling down the back of the cupboard and I forget about it... Shouldn't whinge since I vastly prefer that to a big box, but it's lost out as a result.
  15. Real shame, he's so good on it. Fingers crossed he'll still be ITVs FA Cup coverage etc. In other news, managers complaining about refereeing after Newcastle win yet another home game is my new drug. Silva objects to the red card despite Jimenez bizarrely challenging for a ball on the floor with a Fame-asser, and claims that Fulham didn't get a foul all game. They got 3 less than us, and on 3 separate occasions (including when Jimenez was "elbowed") when the ref called for their physios he personally told them not to bother because he knew they were fine. You'd normally expect an FA fine, but Arteta getting away with it has basically made it open season on refs for teams failings (albeit not everyone could get away with Arteta's hilarious defence).
  16. Bournemouth 2 vs. 0 Luton (Sat 3pm) Burnley 2 vs. 1 Everton (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) Arsenal 2 vs. 2 Brighton (Sun 2pm) Brentford 1 vs. 3 Aston Villa (Sun 2pm) Liverpool 3 vs. 1 Man Utd (Sun 4.30pm, Sky)
  17. Allocation is not tiny. Tory councillor pretends to be football fan, publicly smears football fans. Prick.
  18. Colly

    Taskmaster

That's bad as far as integrity of the competition goes (since it's super super serious of course), but Kiell is well up there in the favourite contestants list.
  19. Finished in the top four though, can't knock that in a difficult group. Hargreaves praising them for keeping the score low in a game against Bayern who had already finished top and clearly couldn't be arsed was nice to watch.
